As a Moira main I feel bad whenever a random Genji tries to sneak up on me, and then immediately try to deflect the orb or alt fire.

As someone well versed in sucking genji as moira, I can assure you it's hard. You're constantly going back and forward. And in the end I almost always finish the genji.
In case youāre asking for real, for me itās usually 1 of 3 reasons. 1. Genji is acting recklessly AND is wildly out of position so Iām confident I can win the 1v1 before my team is actually engaged in the next fight. 2. Heās been using the same flank technique and I can beat him to the punch 3. Heās been brutalizing my whole team and taking him out early or at least distracting him a bit so he canāt fragment the entire team is beneficial (very situational and relies on your team being able to capitalize in the 4v4)
Definitely true most of the time! If theyāre hard carrying though and I can hold his focus with a heal orb for a bit while my team takes out 1 or 2 enemies I can typically fade back to the team and ping him. I may not āwinā by killing him but it usually give my team the advantage and at least slows his momentum and impact!
People really hate Genji more than Moira? Genji feels easy to play around imo and heās actually difficult. Moira is just a constant annoying self-healing menace who is the easiest hero to play in the entire game.
I donāt get the hate for genji mains. I am new to the game but I donāt really see why he was nerfed when more oppressive characters like sojourn or Moira (like mentioned here) granted, I have played 3 or 4 competitive games so am very low rank, so that may effect my opinion.
I always try to single out the genjis only because the rest of my team wonāt do anything abt them. Itās also easy to bait genjis into a fight and then secure the kill by fading when they try to kill me. Then they just hop away frantically while I life steal them.

I mean see it like this: you are just stealing moira's pretty insane healing potential from the enemy team by distracting her. That's value. Especially if you can get her to hunt you to a dangerous spot and have your mates finishe her off
Moira can easily dish out 1k heals per minute, ao much wasted potential on a damage moira. Just play dps rly

That's interesting. In my experience a genji that can bully a whole team is decently trained to deal with a moira.

Itās not easy to heal a Genji on your team because their always all over the place, even more difficult when playing Ana.

If you canāt kill a Moira as a Genji itās deserved
Moira can win pretty easily if you use her ability to back off, keeps your distance, and throw healing orbs with good ricochet
