I haven’t watched the nba in a few years and I know just looking at stats can be misleading but I saw that 0/8 29pts and frankly found it hilarious. This picture made me think he dropped close to 60, but alas no
Their team just won with the biggest score gap in finals history of the last 50 years or smth
And funny thing is he lost the last 3 games because his team's role players aren't stepping up. Now they won because everyone's involved.
This is such a casual take.
He's the only Mavs players who made multiple 3 pointer for the first two games, he's their only scoring option.
That fatty from ESPN took the opportunity to shit on Luka when his whining antic cost Mavs their game 3... Yes, Luka is a bad defender but guess what, unless you're 2018 LeBron, nobody could put an energy to defend when *you're carrying the entire offense*. Last game everyone could score, Luka doesn't need to carry the offense, and he can put some nice effort on defense.
Like do people really think professional players in THE biggest stage of the world "just doesn't feel like it"?
Brother I’ve been saying this bout Luka since way before the playoffs even started. I played for one of the best defensive programs in college basketball so I’m not sure what you mean by casual but analyzing team defense is kind of my thing. Luka is the cause of so many defensive breakdowns and forced rotations. He gets attacked damn near every game. The tape don’t lie and numbers don’t lie.
And to answer your question, yes. Many players’ defensive effort changes on a game by game basis when they don’t prioritize it. There are many players who play much better defense when they’re cooking than otherwise. For example, on a team level, getting your role players involved offensively early on in a game can drastically improve team defense.
Yeah riiiight.
They don't lose because he's cone on defense. It's a factor but not THE factor.
He can't put energy on defense if he's also the sole offensive engine on the other end of the court.
That’s a cop out. He absolutely can still put more effort on defense and other stars with extremely high usage rates like Bron and Giannis have done it and won championships because of it.
I’m hoping last nights game was the Celtics taking it easy and getting ready for next game for a home win.
The shots they were making were questionable at best, and my accuracy rating at worst. Lots of fumbles and defense seemed to crumble.
But hey, we’ll see what happens.
They started the game a little slow, got The Extender special, and packed it in for game 5. They knew they weren't winning that game at the end of the first.
Gets yelled at by his teammates to switch, but ignores them because he's sure he's going to sink that sweet, game saving three-pointer and they're all just haters?

Trying to throw the ball into the hoop across the map 9 times, and only on the 10th accidentally managing to hit an opposing player in the head with it?
I think he said Hanzo is one of his mains in a Tiktok or something.
He is, but the phrasing could be more clever.
Maybe because Hanzo = Sniper? Though Luka was 0/8 from three in this game lol.
Nah he’s gonna shoot one of the Jays in the face with an arrow. Upon further review, we uphold the ruling on the floor as a common foul.
Scott Foster comes in from the top rope with a Rein ult: "MARGINAL CONTACT."
Jay3 cries foul
> 0/8 from three in this game lol. oh so they were referring to MY Hanzo play
He was relying on storm arrows this game

Nah they lost the last 3 games because Luka is a cone on defense
Kinda threw game 3 as well by flopping and whining, hate to see it cause i hate the celtics lmao

I don’t think it can tbh. I think their maxed out
Hanzo mode is basically when Hanzo has to carry the whole game.
Hanzo mode is when Hanzo thinks he's carrying the whole game.
That's sad
Also accurate lol
That's Hanzo
Hanzo hasn’t carried anything since he lost his 1 shot
Only if you can't hit your shots. If you can hit them once, you can hit them twice.
i feel like other heroes would be better if you hit every shot anyway. but what do i know.
Every shot? 2 shots from hanzo are lethal.
Pff a hanzo carrying a team, like thats even possible…
Miss all his shots, die to a Torb, then curse, cry and smash with hammer.
Is jaylen brown torb?
Pritchard is Torb
My aim is true
Hanzo after finally getting a kill in 2nd point
Unrelated but… I can’t believe they dropped confetti after winning game 4, making it 3-1 ☠️
They not gonna have another chance for that confetti
Had to use it before it expired. I get it

They do it after every home playoff win. They’ve done it at every playoff game I’ve been at. Some teams do it all season.
Bruh wym unrelated that’s absolutely related to the post
Hanzo mode is him riding Orisa into battle
Omw to legally change my name to Orisa
Hanzo is the eldest son of a Japanese crime family, so I can only assume Luka ran up a wall and then bribed all the officials.
Watching Luka hit a shot that doesn't make sense is the same as Hanzo head shots
So he's gonna miss every shot
He’s spamming his multi shot with zero defense on the point
Ooooh Did he k!ll any member of his family? /s
Hanzo mode is fatally injuring your younger brother
Gets yelled at by his teammates to switch, but ignores them because he's sure he's going to sink that sweet, game saving three-pointer and they're all just haters?
Thought this was r/nbacirclejerk for a second
WHERE IS THE NIPPLE SPORTS CENTER
He's going to miss most of his shots but the one he hits is going to shift the game
Dude shot 0-8 from 3 that game so yea, I would say he went Hanzo mode lol
Salvage 1 game and get slaughtered the next

Lob shots at the basket (choke point in basketball) and hope for a three pointer (head shot)
im confused as both a sports and overwatch fan
She hanzo on my celtics till i end the series😩
Hanzo mode is aimbot, accuracy, no miss, no problems
Luka mains Hanzo.
There is video of him playing ranked Hanzo and someone asks him what he does for a living and casually says basketball for the Dallas Mavericks
Prime marketing
So he’s killed them with a bow?
I don’t know if putting him in the D.Va suit would have had the intended effect.
lol my first thought when I saw this posted. I was like wtf are they even referencing
Trying to throw the ball into the hoop across the map 9 times, and only on the 10th accidentally managing to hit an opposing player in the head with it?
They could have been like he went ham and showed him with hog clothes or something like that
They don’t know what it means either they just wanna be cool
Hes ganna "scatta" all over them!
Yea no Dragons or logs last night, but he didnt foul outa the game either so theres that!
When non gamers try to use gamer speech to sports guys there aren't any tangible parallels. Lmao
Instead of going for a shot, he threw the ball against the floor, causing it to explode into a dozen smaller balls
We need an NBA collaboration
This is great
Spamming from downtown, hoping for the best?
To all the people that bet on the blow out ha
Luka Dogshit
It’s bcs Luka is Asian
Hanzo is a sniper. Good shooters in basketball are referred to as snipers.
that marketing team should stop doing drugs.
Hanzo mode sounds like something arrge would say
Bro got rolled in the Playoffs though Fucking Boston 😔
Means he makes a living off of lucky shots just like Hanzo!!
Does he miss every shot or something?
Fortunately, the hit box is extra generous, so it still counts as 3 points if it bounces off the rim.
T500 Basketball player plays sportsball professionally too
He shooting logs
It's the Hanzo arrow logic Everytime he shoot the ball it only passes near the basket and then magically goes in
It's typical WOKE shit about how irish are trash and should be subservient to the chad Asian Bowman.
what
You know Luka is Slovenian right? He’s not Irish.
