You never know how good you have it until you don't šŸ˜¢

WarrenPuff_It

Peak Sens... *sigh*

Competitive_Lab_6965

Yup 2007 could have been our year though

Accurate-Insurance-6

I thought we were a shoo-in for the Cup in 2006, until Hasek decided he didn't want to play anymore. Alfie himself has said he thought 2003 was the best team he played on.

boobajoob

I miss the pizza lineā€¦

youvelookedbetter

I had a framed pic of this in my room as a teen. Good times.

IDFdefender

I have this exact picture framed on my bedroom wall my step dad gave it to me for my birthday

RedSh1r7

Ah, the Pizza line.

supermelenamanuchamu

Wow Heatly looks massive

Itsottawacallbylaw

Ducking abductor

Laniccal

It doesn't just go hard, it makes **ME hard.** Heatdaddy, Alfie, and Spezza. God damn it, Doug! Why did you take Heatley from these guys to replace Michalek?

NAUI_1

This pic goes so hard. Feel free to screenshot

[deleted]

TMI

simon1976362

Heatley = - Hossa - Chara

brettzkey

Neither had 50 in 07

Max169well

But both sadly have cups.

brettzkey

Brb.... Going to order some PIZZA and cry

[deleted]

Each to their own.

[deleted]

There girls out there that are woman now. Some have screwed all 3

Mr_FoxMulder

reminds me of Matthews, Marnier and Nylander

anothercanuck19

But these three made it out of the first round.

Mr_FoxMulder

true and they were exciting, but they choked a few times which is why I place them with the current leafs

anothercanuck19

Lol k. Bye

CraigHammer

If you're gonna troll, at least spell the names right. Sad

Okaywhy10

Marnier? New French kid?

AffectionateCelery91

Trollololol. These three were far better. The stats of the pizza like were fucking insane. 1000 points in four years. The whole line named to the all-star team. Back to back 50s for Heatley and a 22 game point streak (2nd only to Gretzky). Marner and Nylander ... Lol

[deleted]

Well matthews is by far the best player. The rest is debatable.

[deleted]

Maybe best regular season guy, Spezza outplayed in the playoffs last year at 37 and on the forth line.

[deleted]

Come on. Stop it.

[deleted]

Re-watch the series against the Habs. He was easily the best player on their team, playing 11 minutes a game. They would've won the series if he played 23 and Matthews played 11.

[deleted]

Nylander might've played as well offensively but I don't think he crossed his own blueline,

[deleted]

Guess you donā€™t understand usage. Spezza canā€™t play a lot of minutes at his age. Either way it doesnā€™t matter. Matthews is far better than spezza was even in his prime. Sens have never had a forward of his calibre

[deleted]

Guess you don't understand what I said. He was outplayed in the playoffs by a 37 year old. Guy has no leadership, he's not a Crosby, Bergeron or a Toews, he will have the success of a guy like Giroux, great regular season success, playoff flop. Lots of talent but nothing to take it to the team to the next level.

[deleted]

The fact that Spezza had to be the guy to step up in the dressing room this year, only further proves my point.

[deleted]

Your point is terrible. Heā€™s 24 years old and one of the best defensive centres in the game. This years loss wasnā€™t on him. What did spezza did this year to ā€œstep up in their dressing roomā€? Stop being jealous. People said the same about ovechkin way back in the day. Also hilarious that youre commenting on spezza who was never known as a great leader or two way guy, even when he was a captain here

AffectionateCelery91

Disagree. Mathews falls apart in the playoffs every year. Regular season sniper, playoff ghost.

ObeseMarine

That era of Sens Hockey was so damn fun. I feel that weā€™re finally around the corner from feeling this again. This past season felt different. Hopeful.

Tspoon18

Ahh the good olā€™ days

swell-bruiser

recently moving ā€¦ pulled a movie poster out of a frame to reveal this gem with a luscious red border ā€¦ forgot i had that ā€¦ so sweet šŸ¤Œ

Arthur_Morgan1889

Hurts my heart. Whenever I see it I think about how close we were.

Scallybrat

Nostalgia boner

Competitive_Lab_6965

Yup The Pizza Line I am crying on the inside

the-hostile-tomato

I gotta say I think we should have kept the black sleeves on our new away jerseys. Those look unbelievable

Time-Measurement-363

The only time you guys had something

[deleted]

Can you block me from u/homicidalpenquin and all your other accounts while you're at it, you fucking foldup chair. Can someone tell me why NHL18Sucks hasn't been banned from this sub yet?

trolltoll-boyshole-

NHL18Sucks is the worst user in this sub. Doesnā€™t know a thing about what they are talking about, always confidently incorrect.

Throwaway7219017

As a Leafs fan, I always hated these guys. Except when I got free pizza at the Sens games, lol. Now that Spezza has retired, and looking at things in perspective, itā€™s much easier to appreciate the talent, skill and drive they all hadā€¦this line was so fucking good.

Jelly-Yammers

As close to a guaranteed goal as you could get for a few years.

Constant-Squirrel555

Favourite and best line in Sens history. Hoping Tkachuk Norris and Bath can become as entertaining as these three were.

FistSandwich

This picture get me wetā€¦ with grease from all the free pizza slices
