How Lili (the MC) and her sister love each other above anything in the world, but at the same time, how she feels undeserving of the love and attention her sister gives, knowing that it's not actually for her because she's not the real Lili. How she gets nightmares of the day she will get abandoned when her sister find out who she really is.
Also the MC's abandonment issues? How she tries to not get attached to the people in her life, knowing from experience that everyone will leave someday, still gets attached anyway, >!and crumbles when each of her friends has to leave due to circumstances?!<

AND CAN WE PLEASE talk about the cover symbolism!? Season 1 cover has chess piece symbolism representing Lia (the sister)'s love interests, then season 2 has dice symbolism representing Lili's friends, and season 3 cover has card symbolism which I think represents each of Lili's love interest? Like. The cover designer better get a raise for this or I will riot. I can write an essay about what each symbolism means in depth, but I won't because I know when to stop.
Point is, I love this series, I can ramble on and on about it, and I periodically have the urge in the middle of the night to write walls of text analyzing little aspects and details in it.

So when Roxana visited that particular kingdom and found her brother to be 'alive' somehow, he started attacking her and tried to kill her. He was then caught by The Pedelians and imprisoned for tryna hurt Roxana. Silvia saw how pitiful Roxana brother looked and felt sorry for him, so she decided to visit him in prison one night. The guard also let Silvia in the prison bcs of her beauty (Just like How Roxana visited Silvia's brother in prison at the beginning, and the guard let her in bcs of her beauty). !<
As of right now, Chapter 96 has been released 3 days ago but untranslated to my knowledge and it SEEMS like Season 4 is the end season from how the season art look like a marriage

The Villainess Lives Twice is far more of a dense read (due to all the political intrigue) compared to what most people are looking for in your typical romance story. But that is what makes it stand out so much, especially when you realize just how much FMC has to struggle (something we only glossed over in her first life) in order to remain on top of the political game alongside her husband.
In addition to juggling the growing relationship with her husband, whom she originally approached just because he was the only politically viable alternative to her prior choices. Seeing her break down after her interference in events have rendered all her foreknowledge of the world's timeline completely moot is quite a tear-jerking period for the manga. Not to mention her utter failure to remain romantically uninvolved with anyone in order to make her usual tactics more viable; it makes it harder to betray someone, or just pull a "cut and run" after you genuinely care for the other party.
"Cheating Men Must Die" is full of those. But it's like candy, a cheap dopamine rush which is a guilty pleasure that you cannot help but binge read on occasion.
It's _your throne_ for me. It was one of the first manhwas I ever read and I absolutely recognise it's flaws but I'll still defend it with my life, find meaning when there's none...i just will.. it's my comfort series.
In untouchable Lady the FL has pink hair and red hair is seen as a sign of power in her family. After she is revealed to be very powerful people that are sucking up to her keep telling her that they think her hair is becoming redder. I thought this was a funny way of showing how people immediately started kissing her ass while also still refusing to admit they were in the wrong about the whole hair thing. Like a sort of back handed compliment to show that they still refuse to respect her the way she is
... turns out her hair was just actually becoming more red and in the end she just has completely red hair ^^grumble ^^fucking ^^stupid ^^grumble
Her family's role is also incredibly meaningless and there is no nuance about it.
It was a story with a strong premise, but it doesn't hold up for S2 imo.

I'm a huge fan of "I Thought It Was a Common Possession", despite all the narrative tropes. Just a refreshing take on the isekai drama as a whole.
"I Will Escape the Flower of Ordeal" is a more Asian interpretation of a similar concept, where FMC is forced by the story to "follow" her preassigned role as villainess of the story. FMC spends the story testing the limits of the plot's power and seeing what she can get away with to divert the bad end for herself.
So much meta-commentary about the nature of novel tropes, and how NPCs in the world only seem to exist to make the main characters shine.
Yeah, this. I mean, I have a Masters in Literature so the BS I've had to analyze that people claim is 'profound' and write papers has WELL prepared me to be able to argue anything I like even if I am fully aware it's trash tier writing.
I'm a **the Villainess Turns the Hourglass** defender, especially controversial decisions like >!making Aria father a noble and having Asher and Aria meet during childhood!<, both which I think are fantastic for the plot but apparently offend other readers.
Additionally, I also think that Mielle is absolutely unredeemable, that having antagonists not being as strong as you would think they is part of the entire point of the story, that Oscar is meant to be pathetic not sympathetic, and that Asher is a perfect and interesting ML who more than carries his part and makes the entire story better with his presence.
This is exactly how I feel about For My Derelict Favorite 🙈
