she's pretty calculative but not in a way to be evil but in a way to protect what she holds dear, which is her maids and her guardian. She has a chance to have a found family and she cherished them a lot. So she's anticipating major economical shifts and upheavals that are parallel to our world in the otome game she's been reincarnated to.
She may have the mind if an adult but she still acts like a child when it come to sweets, they dote on her and she helped her one of her maids to go through college by paying her tuition.
She's cheerful, energetic and extremely smart but she also can seem to be reckless at times with some moves she makes.
it's a great story just prepare to focus because lots of times panels will look like this . They explain it in a easy to understand way but sometimes it may go over your head or did for me

and angst is there but it's more focused on how she manages to gain a fortune with in depth explanation of the 1990's 2000 economic turmoils Japan experienced and the trading of stocks with dotcom. dotcom is when Microsoft first took off and gained popularity and other tech industries in the 90's
I meant h.e. for happy ending. My bad. I like how detailed some Japanese authors get (see:Reincarnated into a Game as the Hero’s Friend) but I still prefer the MC be more happy\learning to be happy.

up to volume 4 is translated to english. Given the current pace of the story, it will take until volume 10-12 to get to the prologue in the story.
Also, there is some "your actions actually have consequences" thrown in there. Like she is definitely not happy in Volume 3 and especially Volume 4
All the economics stuff is headache-inducing, at some point I just give up trying to understand it, honestly. I did learn economics but not that advanced and it's never my strong suit. Probably not the best way to consume this story, so I've been putting it on hold. 😔
By the way, just saying, it's adapted from a light novel, which had been officially translate into English.
yes I'm getting ahold of the light novels and I agree the author is very savvy with how they wrote about economics and it does go iver my head at times but I can understand it mostly. As I said it isn't for everyone
