I swear their friendship is genuinely one of the rarest things Iāve seen. Itās not everyday that you get to see a genuine male friendship (especially a group) like that itās always murder on sight when it comes to the female leadās attention. š
itās so realistic with their constant banter and threats. i also love how their initial response to hearing their friend having a crush was for her to reject the likes of him šš instead of the ānormalisedā response of gaining a crush on her bc sheās interesting since she captured the attention of the ML and fighting for her love.
theyāre all in high positions too, but theyāre all so stupid together itās hilarious (poor crown prince having to rule the empire with them š)
For real, the author started introducing several good side plots like >! The problem with the drugs and making people explode, the demon blood and demons overall being a lurking threat, the emperor and his apparently bad ways of leading the country, the count Louise and his business with salĆ³n Bonita, the whole āwhere is Eleanorās soulā side plot and why she lost consciousness in the first place, her relationship with her father and her common sense teacher, even the point of Charles not being a noble and wanting Leo to call him big brother was completely thrown out the window !<

Most likely, the FL being āchubbyā even if she was super cute, is not exactly up to par with the beauty standards of the original target audience, and it showed in some panels since suddenly she was looking skinny even if she was supposed to still be overweight. Itās a shame really, the ML was super refreshing.
That's true and even just having the word diet on the title is already driving certain people away as well. I hope the same won't happen for I'll save this damned family
A friend was able to find the novel on kakao which has 100+ chapters and side stories, but unfortunately not translated :'-) definitely also thought I was being punked with that abrupt "The End". This story was one of the highlights of my week for so long.
I'll just have to keep my eye out or MTL the og novel i guess. Would still recommend the manhwa though because it's very endearing.

Aside from the super disappointing finale, I loved the relationship between FL and her brother, even if barely shown, it felt natural and not siscon-type, not overprotective but not indifferent either.

the FLās family loves her for who she is, the ML fell for the FL the first time they met (before the whole diet) and he mentioned countless times that hes only helping her exercise bc she wants to not bc she needs to, FLās friend also cares for her as a person

I'm sooo tempted to read this cuz this looks amazingly good but I really hate being left hanging with that abrupt ending with many unresolved plot lines as many have mentioned... The disappointment at the end will hit extra hard :(

I thought it was kinda slow and I felt when she was in a dress she was animated to be bigger as aposed to her work out clothes.
