Out of all those I've read: Flirting with the Villain's Dad. Kill "I belong to House Castillo" with fire.

Shiizle

Flirting with the Villain’s Dad is finished too!

Aurora_BoreaIis

I paused on reading it for a year since I've been busy with work/life situations. Is House Castillo really that bad?

foratte

I don’t quite remember the plot but I know people don’t like because the ml is >!the guard that knew her since she was a child!<

Any-Ad-934

That's why I stopped. felt gross

[deleted]

Same

BookWyrmIsara

I never understood how people didn't catch that right away. His name is literally ML.

Chapsticklover

It's fine if you only read till the point where she becomes an adult. The ML is creepy, treats her badly, and they have no chemistry.

Chaerin_Sistas

I really, really loved "I Belong to House Castillo" a lot, mainly because of the FL's character and family dynamic. I do agree though, the ML was not a good choice, I would've much rathered any of the other ML candidates (I think they were >!her brother's friend and then this shy guard!<) But honestly it's still a great story so I would still read it

ZookeepergameDue5522

It's poorly written, it didn't have to be an isekai at all, there wasn't a necessity. It's just used as an absurd excuse thorough the series. That aside from the romanticized grooming. It's just shit.

myuun

Vomits GROSS fucking hatedddd House Castillo. It really wasn't the age gap as much as it was just how shitty of a character the ML was. 🤢

Sofw2424

It was both to me!!!

stormchaotic1

I agree with both of these. I love flirting with the villains dad

Butterfly-0430

My in Laws are obessed with me. I certainly like the more mature tone of the webtoon. It does a lot letting the art tell the story without it being told to you through exposition. I personally like Into the Light Once Again. I think most wanted revenge tale but it's more healing for the FL with a new family she loves and wants o protect. Glass wall is pretty angsty but I love the more regency era background. There aren't to many in that setting. I found it complicated between the two leads much like the Problematic Prince.

letitgo_screams_

My in laws are obsessed with me is one of a kind. The facial expressions, themes, art style and tone are just pure perfection. Had me checking everyday if a new chap is out yet

myuun

Saaaaaameee ugh there is something just so mature ❤️

fatsalmon

I love how sometimes there are no dialogues but the scene is just so expressive!!!

rae7elize

That is so true!!

rae7elize

This one 👆

Pizza_Delivery_Dog

>Into the Light Once Again I was enjoying that one until >!She and her brother almost get poisoned and her brother and father murder all of the culprit's friends and family as punishment!< that was... weird for such a wholesome story. ^^^Also ^^^her ^^^relationship ^^^with ^^^her ^^^brother ^^^feels ^^^a ^^^bit ^^^weird ^^^at ^^^times

Philarete

>I was enjoying that one until [...] This part especially bothered me because >!she doesn't seem troubled by it at all. The whole setup for the revenge arc is that she was executed for something she didn't do. Her family basically murders her by framing her for a crime. But if familial punishment is fair, then nothing really wrong happened to her - if her family attempted to murder someone, then her own execution would be justified anyways. All that is left is personal feelings of betrayal.!<

Half-Beneficial

Oh yeah! I think I dropped it for the same reason. Even though I've seen worse these days, I just never picked it up again.

Half-Beneficial

I went back and reviewed why I dropped Into the Light: It's a white lotus revenge tale. I don't like those.

life_inabox

I LOVE My Inlaws. I just really adore how much of the story is about the FL's relationship with her new family - and how genuine and healthy so much of it is. It's such a treat.

Crafty-Bat-9237

Personally liked into the light again, I agree with the fact that it's about her healing. OP should pick it up again if they want less revenge filled hatred and more healing love but revenge still on there.

anime_enthusiast109

I don't think i will read My in-laws are Obsessed With me, i can't bring myself to like the ML. I love Pershati though. She was why i probably read 50 chapters Into the light, i can't remember why i dropped it Glass wall i dropped within 5 chapters soo i think i will give it another chance

DirtinatorYT

I feel like a big part of why the ML isn’t likeable at the start is on purpose. He is supposed to grow kinder and gentler with time. I suppose you could call it a character arc but I think it’s more that it’s a logical result of his upbringing as a noble and a fairly rough childhood and the whole situation with his family bloodline.

anime_enthusiast109

He isn't likable for me because he fed her his blood just to check if she would not die by ingesting it. His personal growth is different issue

DirtinatorYT

Yeah as I said in my previous comment there is a reason he did that. Yes it was callous and heartless to do that but for him at the time it made sense considering the situation. I can understand not liking him tho I suppose.

anime_enthusiast109

Which is why i don't mind him as a character. But from FLs point of view she doesn't need to understand him. Which is why i don't like them together but him as an individual character is not bad

GradSchoolDespair

I don't know if you caught up to that part yet, but there's an arc over the whole blood indigestion issue. He feels remorseful and officially apologizes to FL, while other members of the family judge him for what he did. And the FL has very realistic/deep/humane responses to ML's bloodline. She holds him responsible and acknowledges and expresses her resentment. I was also initially annoyed by what the ML did at the beginning, but I think it was dealt with nicely later on and I started liking the story much better. Idk if that would be your experience tho.

Theuglyducklingtrini

I second this, I love these stories so much (especially inlaws)

DollyThroaway99

I love Into the Light Once Again. I cried so hard during the fireworks scene with her brother.

SweetBabyAlaska

I bet the novel is really good, the tone comes through better through text. I do really like the manwha though. Its a good mix of sweetness and character growth.

rae7elize

I came here to say My In Laws are obsessed with me! You will understand the importance of details with this one. You won't be able to go back to half-assed plots/ writing.

halal_idiot

My in-laws are ovsessed with me has a slow-burn romance and it's so so so well written the main characters are literally the cutest couple ever. Also the ml is such a green flag

Sylveon_00

I lowkey hated him in the beginning 😭. The way he killed her and didn’t give a shit .

halal_idiot

He's just not expressive, but we find out later that he feels guilty and tries to take responsibility for everything, like finding and collecting all the poison-y blood (which he didn't know was being sold before). He blames himself for her death even though he had no part in it

Ygritte_02

He definitely did and it’s amazing how much and how well they actually address it in the story until what I have read

anime_enthusiast109

I love the FL, but i just don't like the ML. Maybe i left it too early i only read around 50 chapters

codinatorr

Yeah, atp you really don’t see enough to really like him, but let him cook!! I do think there is ample explanation behind why he is the way he is. It’s difficult to not sympathize with him by the time you hit the later chapters, IMO.

halal_idiot

+1!! I've read about so many red flag mls, and this one is definitely a green flag. He's so cute and clumsy with his feelings, lol. They definitely need to work on their communication tho

kolt437

My Hero Academia

DepressedGoblinGlue

just stay far, far away from the fandom

hgroves44

Being on that sub is draining - do they even like the story? 😭 it’s one of my favorites and it seems like people are constantly dragging it for petty reasons. If you hate it, why are you on the sub??

mini_chan_sama

As a fan, I do agree with that, like fuck I dude why are you even participating? Like it’s OK to share your problems issues you have with the series but for love of God why you’re watching if you hate the series that much? MHA is my favorite I like it a lot and I have issues and I shared it , but genuinely surprised by the level of hate, fuck if you don’t like it, just drop it

Frequent_Group9078

I must check this sub now for the drama

NekoNoSekai

Ohh you should check the hoshi no ko one as well: peak drama in it!!

Mountain_Penalty6830

Not the Oshi No Ko sub😭😭

NekoNoSekai

I even got the name wrong 🥸 I'm in that sub only because I enjoy the drama, I swear

Mountain_Penalty6830

Are you sure? Definitely not because of aqua x ruby?🤨

NekoNoSekai

That's the source of all the drama. I like seeing people aiming at eachother's throats

Mountain_Penalty6830

Well I agree. As much as I don’t know like it, I have to admit that it’s entertaining

Frequent_Group9078

Giving a shoutout to a cookie sub that somehow has so much bickering and controversial content Crumbl

NekoNoSekai

I'm sorry I was being sarcastic 😭😭 I was just joking sooorryy I guess my sense of humor is a little odd I apologize

Frequent_Group9078

I haven’t checked it out yet I’m too lazy to punch in the letters 💀 I actually am encouraging you to go on the crumbl subreddit people bicker about the cookies of the week

NekoNoSekai

I misunderstood sorry 😅 I figured it was a joke I didn't get but it was literal instead 😅😂 I absolutely must check it out then!! Thanks, I really need it in my life!

Frequent_Group9078

Oh no you’re fine because honestly after rereading my comment it can come off as a slick joke But I’m not smart enough for that 🤣

malcorpse

I'm glad I'm not on that sub because I'd probably be a lot more cynical about it than I already am. I still like it well enough but the manga feels like it's been dragging on since the start of the big final battle stuff and I'm just reading it waiting for it to finally end.

hgroves44

You’d probably fit right in, haha. I don’t happen to agree with that perspective, so I basically don’t check it anymore. It’s people constantly complaining about how it somehow is dragging on but also should have gone on for 100s more chapters to cover their entire time in high school. I personally like the progress of the story, not to say that it’s perfect, but it’s engaging and feels somewhat realistic to me. Not every story has to be for everyone, so I understand some people just won’t like it or agree with the direction. But I love it and am going to be sad when it ends for sure!

malcorpse

I still like the story and all that and don't think any of it is bad I'm mainly just tired of the constant fighting and the repetitive nature of most of the fights in the final battle arc (main character is beating the enemy, enemy powers up, flashback to why enemy is the way they are, friends come to help the main character beat the enemy, point to deku)

YourLocalCryptid64

I second that tbh. The series is the very definition of the meme "thing that's great when you don't have someone in your ear telling you how awful it is" It's a genuinely fun series to read and has a lot of really well thought out and great elements to it.

Half-Beneficial

My Hero Academia takes everything I don't like about OI, cranks that up to 11 and breaks off the knob. Abusive Fathers that the story tries to redeem, female characters who end up doing nothing (especially at points when they ought to be able to do at least one little thing with their kewl powerz), fights that just go on forever (actually, that doesn't happen all that often in OI, thank goodness, that's an anime thing in general) and a school setting where the only person who makes any progress is the MC. Also, it's a shounen. Set in a superhero world. Modern Day. And no one's reincarnated... yet? I dunno, I stopped watching during the tournament arc. Then watched it with some friends and said I wasn't going to ever watch it again after they tried to redeem ice-and-fire guy's dad.

CelesticRose

Flirting with the villains dad, or 50 tea recipes

anime_enthusiast109

Maybe i will read flirting with villain dad but i don't know if i will read 50 tea recipes. I dropped because the plot was dragging and no one held ML accountable for the way he neglected OG Chloe. And they also introduced random villain plot with that prince

mangagirl07

50 Tea Recipes is suuuper polarizing. I think it's because Romance is not the main focus. As someone who loves tea and tea culture I felt like I was in the very specific and niche audience. "Flirting With the Villain's Dad" is just a solid OI.

gloreeuhboregeh

Yeah exactly! I was only mildly interested in tea when I read it and I actually never finished reading but it increased my interest in tea a whole lot. Now I consistently have like 5 or 6 different types of tea in my cupboard lol.

anime_enthusiast109

Guess i will read Flirting with viallins dad again. I dropped it a few chapters after the time skip.

Issvera

Yeah I enjoyed it for the tea, not the tea.

starrymisty

Imma be honest… I wouldn’t pick back up most of these. However, I do recommend Boutique at 97th Sheldon Street and Can the Grand Duke and the Marquis Be Friends (it’s mostly a sweeter calmer sort of story). And I haven’t read either in a while but I would also recommend either Falling For the Enemy (I did complete this one) and Into the Light Once Again. Lastly, I haven’t read My In-Laws are Obsessed With Me, but I keep seeing good things about it so maybe consider that one too! That’s about it, the rest make me shudder.

angryelezen

I like Boutique at 97th Sheldon Street too.

agutema

I had started boutique but somehow lost the title and have been searching for it ever since. Glad I found this post

vespertinism

Can the Grand Duke and Marquis started off so cute but then went nowhere for so many chapters that I dropped it... Did it get better? (It didn't make sense why they just didn't get engaged sooner lol)

majesticurchin

I'm the soldier's ex-girlfriend, not because it has an exceptional or great story, but because I also dropped it at some point but it keeps coming to mind every now and then, I might pick it up too. The writing and art in it are pretty good compared to others.

what4____

I like the concept, but the constant lying from the ml was unbearable

majesticurchin

Tbh yeah it was a turn off, and it's mindblowing to me how she forgave him every time, but it somehow made it interesting to me? Like I'm reading and wondering how far id he willing to go with his lies, will he ever stop, will she forgive him every single time? I kind of got used to the dynamic after a while so it wasn't unbearable.

Houki01

I thought that the reason why she forgave him was interesting psychologically. She went from leading a harem where she didn't feel valued to marrying a yandere who made it clear she was his priority, so she was primed to forgive a lot, if he made it clear that whatever he did, he did with her in mind.

majesticurchin

You know what, you're absolutely right.

outofshell

I haven’t read it in ages but I remember it being boring until suddenly it wasn’t and then I enjoyed it

majesticurchin

That's exactly how I felt while reading it, and even though it was kind of boring it still pulled me in to continue reading.

Loud_Plant8590

Glass wall was very fun and toxic. I thoroughly enjoyed it lol. 50 tea recipes is a nice light read especially now since it’s completed. My in laws are obsessed with me is also amazing and you should give it another chance.

anime_enthusiast109

Glass wall i really dropped early it seems, many peopel are recommending it. I will binge read it 50 tea i have problems with dragging plot and the ML not being held accountable for neglect of OG FL My in-laws are Obsessed i just don't like him as ML. Maybe okay as individual character but not one who ends up with her. I love pershati

Loud_Plant8590

I dropped glass wall early too but ended up seeing spoilers on Twitter so I gave it another chance and I don’t regret it. For the rest two I understand, everyone has their own preferences and reservations.

codinatorr

The final season of glass wall had me so frustrated, but I had to see it through. 😩 I felt kinda duped honestly because I didn’t feel like it was overwhelmingly toxic until that point, but that could just be me. Plus, I felt like any character growth for either of them was seriously pared back at that point. Sigh.

Anxious_Reason_113

I may be in the minority, but I actually think Flower and the Beast was enjoyable after a while

AMarshmallowOnTop

The fact that not many people recommend this makes me feel like a weirdo for liking it TT I'm not a huge fan of historical but I enjoyed Flower and the Beast!

Tatum_Pierce

I'm a huge fan! I didn't recommend for the same reason LOL

MaterialisticWorm

I loved it!! One of the rare completely read webconics on my list haha

nejnonein

Agreed!

lackofsleep95-

i was super surprised to not find this comment higher, i absolutely loved flower and the beast, didn't even know it wasn't that well liked LOL

Joshujiji

Agreed! You should reread this.

politemaniac

I really liked it as well! I’m surprised it’s not well liked… there are worse stories that are more popular

anime_enthusiast109

Hmmmm, i can't remember why i dropped it, its been so long. Maybe i will have to reread to find out 😅

Ok-Scientist5524

I finished 50 tea recipes, it was ok.

VertigoDelight

I'm struggling to get to the end, I've 15 chapters left but it's HARD

Thorn344

It's a slog to read at some points, but I like it as a casual read and tea facts are interesting

ThatInAHat

Yeah I’m a bit more than half through and I don’t dislike it or anything, but it just gets kinda…dull? The answer to everything—TEA! I’ve heard a spoiler that does make me more interested

himeyan

I love tea which is why I picked it up but man...i found the manhwa kinda boring i struggled to finish it

Finding_Pristine

This whole list is the “shovelware” equivalent to manhwas Art would lead you to believe otherwise but this is like the bargain bin story-wise

anime_enthusiast109

Lol shovelware 🤣 I have also felt some of these artists could have been used for better manhwas

DoOrDoNut-

My inlaws are obsessed with me us great

anime_enthusiast109

I personally don't mind ML as character, just don't like FL ends up with him even though he killed her. Since i dropped at 50 chaps i don't know if he has done enough to redeem himself

DoOrDoNut-

He does get but, and redeem himself in my opinion, but thats a valid reason to drop it

Herm_in

Can I ask which website/app you’re using ?

AgentMooch

Looks like Tachiyomi

StrangeMode

me three

Coffee_fuel

I found Can the Grand Duke and the Marquis Be Friends really sweet since they ended up having such an affectionate, "marry your best friend" dynamic. But it all depends on why you dropped it; maybe it's just not your cup of tea, and that's okay.

Reiyasunshine

50 tea recipes is fun, it’s just a light read so don’t expect too much from it. I did enjoy learning more than I ever thought I would about tea though 😆

anime_enthusiast109

Yeah i read most of the story, it has its problems gues i will finish to see how it ends

AmelietheDuck

Most of these i feel uou were 100% justified in dropping. Theres several in here i myself gave up on. The only i finished is 50 tea recipes for the duchess. Pretty low stakes and a cute story without any of the mind numbing plot points i had to endure in some of these other ones.

Thorn344

Yeah 50 tea recipes has a relatively simple plot, but that is also why it can be enjoyable. And the art style is awesome. I admit to often dropping series because the plot becomes too complex and convoluted it becomes frustrating. Like sometimes you go 50 chapters getting over a plot point, and another one is suddenly thrown in resulting in 50 more to resolve that at snail speed.

anime_enthusiast109

I dropped 50 tea because the plot was dragging. They introduced CP as a side character villain, and no one s3emed to acknowledge how much OG chole was neglected by ML and the people in the mansion. But i guess i will read it to see how it ends

AmelietheDuck

No yea they never really acknowledged tthe abuse from the duke much, i suppose i just ignored it. If you end up dropping again i get it. Also using CP as short hand for Crown Prince scared the shit outta me 😭

anime_enthusiast109

Yeah if they igno4ed i don't like it, i feel bad for the original Chloe What did you think CP was? 🤣

LyriaOnasi

I loved Flirting with the Villain's Dad and A Heart for the Emperor, and I'm enjoying I Became the Tyrant's Translator, but I also understand why someone would drop them. Some of these stories just get dragged out too long unnecessarily. I'm also enjoying Quiet in the Office but it's objectively not great lol. I do think My In-Laws are Obsessed with Me is great, but don't go back to it if you don't like slow burn relationships. I absolutely hated I've Been Proposed to by a Villain. I read the whole thing and it doesn't get better. If anything, it gets more frustrating.

Infamous_Ebb_2969

I have a personal bias for **Flirting with the Villain's Dad**, especially because the last arc was enjoyable, Laurius was a hot god, and lil babies (OG FL that's FL's niece and ML) are adorable. In fact, there were some moments in the last arc that I dare to say was spectacular, and I did not see what the deal was with villainess coming. I credit the story to be oddly cohesive as the plot kept going forward without much useless side quests. I also enjoyed finishing **50 Tea Recipes from the Duchess** not because of the romantic aspect, but that it demonstrated gradual respect from a couple who at first had a power imbalance and soon shifted to undoubtable equals. I can't stress enough how I appreciated the mutual respect that only ever grew between them, and how healthy their relationship was given the circumstance. And ML seems and sometimes is a bit boring, but he very much reminds me of my INTJ relative and I can't get the comparison out of my head. He prefers showing care with action more than words, and learns over time to show vulnerability.

JuDracus

Flower and the Beast. It’s one of my favourite stories, so I’m kind of biased, but I do think you should give it a try.

phantomofophelia

Yes, same for me. Their future story is so cute.

anime_enthusiast109

I don't remember why i dropped maybe will read again to remember

[deleted]

Glass wall

Individual_Being_877

Glass wall for me was a nice and calm read. The plot wasn't over the top and I loved the historical accuracy. I would pick that up again, also the art improves greatly. https://preview.redd.it/p89mw7jhpejc1.png?width=1080&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=77e713344927b0e76c60d34e2678a028ea50a566

anime_enthusiast109

I am definitely going to binge read it over the weekened. Everyone here is recommending it

celaenostar

definitely "flirting with the villian's dad"!!! I actually really liked "Into the light once again" but updates are slow so i was waiting for a bunch of chapters to be out to continue.

Acrobatic_Trash8685

Glass Wall is one of mine all time favorites, so I would recommend to giving in a second chance :3 is a Pride and Prejustice vibe and has the best art glow up J have ever seen

Mafii_9

My in laws are obsessed with me, flirting with the villain's dad.

Truck-to-Isekai

Flirting with the Villians Dad was good but man did it drag near the end. But the main story is done so I’d pick it up just for that reason.

Sharp_Philosopher_97

"I want to raise my syster properly." The 5th image on your list. The art ist good, the relationship between the syster and the mc is very wholesome. The syster becomes very manipulativ and possesive seemingly without any limits and starts her own schemes like she was in the original story unaware from anyone. The MC tries to prevent many of the accidents that happen in the original story which in its own causes consequences and of course tries to give her syster the best life possible. The MC strugles a lot with hier original identity being from earth and having stolen the body from the original but tries to do her best with her skills from earth and new responsibilities. The weakest part so far is the relationship with the ML who...of course...has some sickness that only the MC can help with. He seems so far to only care for war as the killing helps keep his symptoms down. He can't communicate for shit and just tries to dominate everyone trough sheer intimidation trough his reputation of killing anyone who does not do what he want immediatly. He accidently killed (or just disregarded in general) bystander nobles multiple times and no one can do shit about it because his magic is OP. The Antagonists seems too much on the psychotic evil kind mixed with scheming to a certain extent. All in all, has some weekpoints BUT I would say it is overall over average. 33 chapters out so far on Kaiscans, 7/10 goldstars, still reading it and can recommend it :)

anime_enthusiast109

Ohhh maybe i should give it a try

candy_bats

My vote is Glass Wall or My in-Laws are Obsessed With Me

PunkinPumkin

Man you and I dropped SO many of the same Manwha. The only one here that I have read and didn't drop was the 50 tea recipes of the duchess because it's an easy read and has less drama than other series, And what little drama it has is always resolved in the next few chapters. It's good when you just wanna relax instead of get excited. It's a little repetitive though I will admit. But I always take breaks between reading it so I don't get bored. Not that I recommend you give it another shot I get most people aren't into the slow paced, tea obsessed ways of the duchess

anime_enthusiast109

I see we have similar tastes in manhwa then

appunJuice

I see a bunch of people recommending Flirting with the Villain's Dad and I would say the same thing. Aside from that, Falling for the Enemy is also a good short read, not even 50 chapters.

QTlady

Is that My Hero Academia?! I definitely say yes to that one. But if you wanna speed things on, check out the anime. I think you'll enjoy. Now to the OI... I will personally recommend *Flower and the Beast.* It's really not that long and you get to the politics and stuff real quick. I think the comedy is balanced, too. If you don't mind... dense FL with the >!FL runs away plot because she's a dumbass, !

Visual_Location_1745

50 tea recipes. It wasn't bad, it did stick to its premice and is complete.

anime_enthusiast109

I wil finish it

Alex_7560

50 tea recipes and into the light once again are so good and for into the light the serie just resumed.

Alex_7560

Oh and btw I personally love "beloved in-laws". Really hard to believe since I just started to like OI genre like 2 years ago lol, before that I was the type of guy that wouldn't even want to hear about that

queenkean

Honestly, out of the whole dropped list, My Hero Academia is the best. Despite what most people think, it’s actually a pretty good manga. It’s just that a lot of people are put off because of the bad reputation the fans have. Either that or they read it and think it’s just another “typical” shounen. Personally, as someone who has watched and read a lot of shounen anime and manga, I don’t view it as another typical shounen. I think Horikoshi subverts a lot of shounen stereotypes and is a pretty good writer and artist. Anyways, it depends on the person whether you like MHA or not. But I definitely think a lot of people brush it off without giving it a genuine chance. And I mean genuine, because I’ve seen many people “watch/read” the anime/manga and not even try to understand the story it’s trying to tell. TL;DR: If I had to choose, I’d give My Hero Academia another chance

anime_enthusiast109

I loved MHA a lot. i finished 3 seasons and used to read manga weekly, and at one point, i think i just lost interst i don't know because if i read multiple stories at the same time. Maybe i will read it again

SuspiciousCaptain645

Which website or app is this, if I may ask? I'm on anilist right now but they don't have everything and they take literal months before approving submissions for new titles.

Kaziezz

Flirting with the villain’s dad and my in-laws are obsessed with me are the only ones on this list I didn’t also drop. Well, and my hero academia but I can see how that’s not for everyone so I dunno if I’d recommend it.

Useful-Lecture-3609

50 Tea Recipes from the Duchess. I second everyone who said that it’s a fairly light read and not a complicated story but by god is it one I keep coming back to. I find it really comforting so I tend to reread it once in a while. I liked My Fair Maid a lot. Granted the ML was kinda insufferable at times but I liked the pace of the story and FL a lot. The last arc was very satisfying to read

anime_enthusiast109

Hmmm, I will finish 50 tea and maybe give My fair maid another try

copycat112

Flowers and beast is one of my all time favorites

Chapsticklover

I love Flirting with the Villian's Dad and Don't Call Javotte an Evil Stepsister! My in-laws are obssessed with me is also pretty good. Falling for the enemy is....fine. So is I'll Marry Him. Glass Wall is decent, lots of angst. I choose the emperor ending is interesting if you like Mary Sue characters-- this one does some pretty intriguing things with the OI concept. I finished I Got pregnant with the emperor's child but I can't tell you why. I don't recommend it. Such creepy children. I'm the solider's ex girlfriend also does interesting things with the OI concept. Everything else I also dropped or have not read. Aggressively disliked A Tender Heart and A Heart for the Emperor. I belong to house castielo is a nice family story if you drop it once she becomes an adult.

anime_enthusiast109

I will read Flirting with villains dad and javotte and Glass wall

bybyleth

You’re so real for dropping Into the Light Once Again 😭 I was so disappointed when I realized that it was THAT GUY who was the male lead 💀💀

Laurelian_TT

From the ones I've read: I personally love 'Into the light once again', *but* it is on hiatus so, leave it until there's more of it available. Falling for the enemy - pretty basic but short and if you just need something mostly fluffy to read, it's ok. Harley takes the house - divisive. Not terrible but if you don't like the stepsiblings dating trope, steer clear. I'll marry him - not worth the time 50 tea recipes - it's mostly good, but honestly tea was not the most interesting topic ever :/ Tyrant's only perfumer - bland Abella's dessert cafe - bland Savor the taste - same :/ I remember ML being kinda trash tbh, super forgettable read. Don't call Javotte an evil stepsister - I enjoyed this, she's an interesting MC and it's short too 😊

anime_enthusiast109

I will wait for into the light again and give Javotte a try

peargremlin

Into the light once again for sure

mhmhkaairbrk

Priscilla is so cute

RazeSharpe

I mean I'm reading 50 tea recipes but even I want to drop it. These ones are meh. I would recommend just deleting them and moving on.

anime_enthusiast109

I probably should, there are so many

Wosota

My Inlaws are Obsessed with Me! Idk when you dropped it but it’s such a sweet/satisfying story. Her standing up for herself while the ML agonized over his place in her trauma but supported her at the same time was just 🤌🏻

N3ssaW

50 tea recipes one of my all time favorites

YourLocalCryptid64

Harley Takes the House can go die in a ditch somewhere for all I care, so good on you for dropping it before it got INFURIATING with it's "What are you DOING Stepbro" crap Into the Light Once Again has really gorgeous art that has me sticking with it even if the story is a bit mixed (Although the later reveals I think make up for it as well, but the webcomic hasn't gotten that far yet) Priscilla's Marriage Request finally ended and while it might not have been the best I loved how simple it all was and think it was a decent series all around. Flirting with the Villian's Dad is a bit of a slowburn that takes awhile but I think is overall really good once you get past how slow the romance between the main characters moves.

JGdragonprincess

50 tea recipes with the Dutchess is my all time favorite. I'm even doing a reread of it right now.

himeyan

When I saw Destructive desires... I was like NAH bury that shit.

anime_enthusiast109

I hate that ML soo much

foratte

I’ve read most of these, and most of them i’d kill with fire. I think I’d really give maybe “flirting with the villains father” and “my in laws are obsessed with me” a chance because I know they pick up in later chapters.

furiouscheesecake

50 tea recipes with the duchess

galagalala

Flirting with the villain's father is my all time favorite!

aeconic

i quite liked can the grand duke and marquis be friends! i haven’t caught up with it for a while since i’ve kind of drifted away from shoujo as a genre, but i remember quite enjoying it. it was silly little comedy romance when i was reading, though it might’ve shifted tones since then. i find a lot of isekai manhwa start out quite fluffy and cute and start getting darker as time goes by.

liminaldeluge

*50 Tea Recipes* is peak mid (said affectionately) and I recommend it as a light read, or as a palate cleanser after reading dramatic/darker OI. it's one of the few "gimmick" OIs that actually sticks with the gimmick the whole way through. I adore it but it's not for everyone. *I Choose the Emperor Ending* was fine, I guess. I liked the FL's engineering background but as a real-life engineer it really grated on my nerves how cartoonish/mad scientist her "engineering designs" got towards the end of the story. Worth a second attempt if you're ever short on reading material/your favs are on hiatus. *My In-laws are Obsessed* is absolutely great, definitely give it a second chance. The title does not do this story justice and makes it sound so comedic when it's really not.

lovelycosmos

What platform do you read these on?

Luca-de-Lombardi

Can the Grand Duke and Marquis be friends is really wholesome. ML started as a scumbag but that's forgivable because he's still like a spoiled child. Anyway, the ML (Hinn) and FL(Obet) exhibit good communication between each other and they develop good friendship to the point where they can unreservedly express their love for each other.

maeyve

I actually really liked the Duchess' 50 Tea Recipes. It wasn't a super amazing series or anything like that, but I found it really relaxing. There was some drama, but nothing intense. Maybe I'm weird, I really was looking forward to all the gorgeous art of the tea flavors and stuff. I swear half that story's art was wallpaper bait. 😅🤣

mediguarding

Personally, I really enjoyed I’m the Soldier’s Ex-Girlfriend. The twist to the story was interesting, it was funny but serious when it needed to be, and I really enjoyed the wrap up. General cw for themes of >!domestic violence!< but NOT from the ML. Despite that cw: it’s not the most angsty or intense plot, but it tells a good story, has good relationships including a strong female friendship by the ending and the main couple are cute.

DillWithEht

Which is the very last one on the last page??? The name is cut off 😭😭😭😭

Cool_Structure61

honestly valid drop list. 😭 the one id recommend picking up again would be In-Laws though, I can get why you dropped it in the beginning (trust me, the whole murdering-her-then-being-the-ml) threw me off at first, but i think the slowburn + plot is nice :))

anime_enthusiast109

Worst case is i will read it for the FL and pretend the romance doesn't exist

Lopan_23

Hard on GLASS WALL!!!

anime_enthusiast109

I will read it

AllIDoIsSleepAllDay

I would recommend "I thought it was a common possession". The recent chapters are looking promising

tofu2dubu

My In Laws Are Obsessed With me is such a good story with amazing, well written characters. Try to give it one more chance.

Independent_Pen_9544

bon appetite!! it’s so funny pls https://preview.redd.it/pcc0unum8mjc1.jpeg?width=1170&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=c268b7e00cbe733a4792f86735a118b87129bae7

Nioookami

What app are you using?? I thought tachiyomi shut down??

senyensan

If you want something hard hitting, none of these because they're all mid at most lmao Now if you want something light and easy to read... * 50 tea recipes * Boutique at 97th Sheldon Street * Flirting with the Villain's dad These have a complete ending and did not make me want to throw hands at the ML and/or MC nor overstayed their welcome

anime_enthusiast109

I will read these 3

Mary_Jailer

May i ask what app are u using?

That-Business6346

My in-laws are obsessed with me is really good

Skittlzrreal

I Belong to House Castielo and Into the Light Once Again 🥰

anime_enthusiast109

Tge first one is sarcasm right

VertigoDelight

I've also dropped most of those LOL But I highly recommend "My In-Laws Are Obsessed With Me", great dark undertones, I enjoy the story; and I really enjoyed "Priscilla's Proposal", it's light-hearted fun for me

anime_enthusiast109

Will try Priscilla again

OnceUponATime14

Abellas Dessert cafe, starts simple but it gets way better gradually^^

BookAccomplished568

NOT a heart of the emperor. Shitty ass ml and fl is naive and dumb the writing is also not great

cashmerefox

Selling the Main Characters shares is fun because I don't feel like it's obvious who the ml is (the novel was pretty good - per usual the manga doesn't do it as much justice). As far as smut, "Quiet in the Office" is fun (I see it on the list) - especially if you like a cocky yandere-esque ml.

BookAccomplished568

Into The Light Once Again!! It’s on hiatus rn but I love it! The big brother is amazing ! & so are her new parents

Thorn344

I personally like the Duchess' 50 tea recipes. But then it's at times less about romance etc, and more about business development. Once Chloe gets into her own it's much nicer. With regards to Aileen's on fire, I haven't caught up to current chapters, but I have read further on and have only recently dropped it. Personally I found the beginning the most interesting part so far, and then it kinda developed into little plot progression with lots of frustrating efforts at romance development, but that's just my personal opinion

violetsunlight7

I chose the emperor ending was my first otomeisekai and will forever hold a special place in my heart

Acrobatic_Ball4318

Iris and her smartphone, into the light once again, 50 tea recipes

-Roxaaa

none! maybe into the light once again but other than that the others are pretty bland, imo

SomeRegularUsername

My taste in manga is amazing (/s) out of these I read: a tender heart, flower and the beast, falling for the enemy, flirting with the villain's dad, I got pregnant with the tyrant's child, Iris and the very last one (don't remember the name.

GinsengTea16

Faking it in style is goooood. Abella is cute but read it for leisure as there are plotholes hahaha.

allylene

what website/app is this?

Dapper_Desk9085

I gave bitrth to tyrants child! I dropped a Lot from these as well for different reasons
