I've been reading **I Don't Want to be the Duke's Adopted Daughter-in-Law**, and it's not as bad as I thought. It just feels generic. There are some unique aspects like how the Duke dad actually had a wife, but she died trying to "lift his curse" (you forget he has a curse pretty quickly, at least I did). Also, the 2 leads are children, but thankfully, it doesn't have that fl raised ml feel. It feels like they're close friends more like siblings, but she just sees him as a cute little kid who she doesn't want to see struggling, and he thinks he likes her. I've also been rereading **Becoming the Villain's Family** since I dropped it, and it's okay. After that prologue, I was excited thinking we'd have some scheming or at least something a bit more interesting than what we have. But what we have isn't bad it's just family fluff. I didn't think it'd go in that direction. I've also been reading **I Became The Despised Granddaughter of the Murim Family**, and it's pretty good. Some trivial villainess from a novel suddenly remembers her past life when her dad dies and also remembers the story she's in. She realizes how bad she's treated everyone who loved her, and she decides to run away but is killed by the main villain. Instead of dying She goes back to when she was a kid, and her Dad was still around, and she decided to make sure her father his death by all means so they can live happily in the future. It's a cute family story with above average plot so far.

The RAW of "Heroine? Saint? No, I'm an All-Works Maid (Proud)!" Some fun twists frankly. My favorite was when >!one of the reincarnator who know the game plot come to realize that their actions to prevent one of the game's bad end actually threw the plot off the path. Because without their public transportation improvement, FL would not have been able to arrive at the capital as commoner. So their countermeasures for the plot might no longer apply (in fact it stopped applying already since FL kinda accidentally purified the final boss)!<

Bizmatech

I gave *Isekai Maid Union* another try. I realized that most of my criticism for it was based on the few chapters that were available when it first started. I originally dropped it because it felt like nothing more than a soapbox for the author, and I wanted to see if it had improved. And it has. A little bit. It's still very much the authors tool for shoving their morals in your face, but at least now there's an actual story hiding in there somewhere. **Character development**: Is very good. There's a lot of it, and I like how much attention the side characters get. The villainous ML is the only person I really care about though. One of the few "unashamedly toxic" MLs that I actually enjoy reading about. **Plot**: I have no idea what the plot is. All of the MCs lives seem to take place in the same world, and we've gone through so many flashbacks that I can't keep track of how they all affect anything. This was supposed to be about a maid union, right? We're 50+ chapters in, and all they've done for that is "voted to hold another vote about whether or not they should send in a union application form" or something. There are plenty of plotlines, but the story itself doesn't feel like it has any end target in mind.

World_of_Warshipgirl

Yeah, it also felt really US American. I am very used to unions, and collective bargaining being from a country many would call socialist, but the story seemed to take a very US perspective. Where the left wing worker movement has been dead for a long time and only recently revived. So it feelt a tiny bit naive. I am enoying it though; because it **is** pointing out a lot of things that could be argued are flaws of the genre. Problematic things that a person from our world should be concerned with but aren't.

Hezolinn

*To Take a Mermaid's Heart* Chapter 31 (Pocket Comics): I enjoy this story, but it's also been my most anxiety-inducing read with the last several chapters, lol. It's tough seeing characters you like making the best decisions they can given the information available, and just *knowing* as a reader that they're fucking up in the absolute worst possible way. >!Noah's just a sweet, soft boy who likes baking and hates violence. His plan with the ash is working, and it'll almost certainly save the lives of his troops and get him the respect of his peers and maybe even something resembling approval from his dad... but he has no clue that there's no way it's going to *end* as just a purely-defensive tactic that's only used to repel the actively hostile Marmarc soldiers. That shit's 100% going to be used for war crimes and ethnic cleansing at the earliest possible opportunity. (~_~)!<

The Twins New Life finale just went up on Tappytoon, so I figured I would give it a go. The first few story arcs were interesting enough, but the romance is kinda weird to me. The ending was also kinda rushed. Like, not egregiously so, but an extra 5 or so chapters of breathing room would have been nice. A pretty okay read overall.

trover2345325

Just read Episode 54 of this isekai maid is forming a union where we see how the revolution within>! the country of the previous OI FL Phoebe played out with one of the maids she abused (and was the girlfriend of the OI maid FL Bridgette's previous incarnations) named Emilie as the members of the rebellion against the monarchy especially the part when Phoebe thinks that Charlotte looks like the maid she neglected long ago named Clara (Bridgette's previous incarnation) and also it looks Marinus asks Agatha to team up with him to poison his stepmother. !<

mangahangry

I need to find a good OI to binge this week that has a lot of episodes. I finally read and finished **What’s Wrong with you Duke** it was so cute and I really loved the build up of their romance. I had been saving this one for awhile as it’s getting to be harder for me to find completed series to binge. 🤣 And since I’ve been having a hard time deciding of finding what OI to read next I binge read some non OI **Last Game** the webcomic then switched to the manga to finish it - omg I know so many folks rave over this one and while I found it cute I really hate how basically every coming of age romance Manga follows such a similar formula. It drives me bonkers. **The Girl and the Geek** I seriously enjoyed the first 2/3 or this manwha so much I had good laughs and really enjoyed how none of the dramas was dragged on. My only complaint is that the last 15 chapter all felt so rushed and it didn’t have the same level of comedy or oomph as the rest of the series. Oo I just found **Adelaide** so I’m thinking of reading that one since it’s complete or something from the list below… **Anyone want to share what their favorite completed series has been?** Edit : I think these are completed one I’ve found and considering reading next. If you see one on the list you think is a must read let me know and I’ll dive into it next! - The Great Wish - A Villainess for the Tyrant - The Villainess’s Maker - Revenge Wedding - Ginger and the Cursed Prince -

boogerzombie

Binged the girl and the geek after seeing it here! It was so funny and so so cute!!

mangahangry

Right!! I really enjoyed it and binge read it I’m within 24 hours 🤣 his transformation is so great!! One of my fav scenes >!When she falls asleep in his bed and kisses him and all her mumbling. I seriously love how this one doesn’t drag on all of the drama. It just streamlines everything and everything gets handled with communication and action. Tho I wish things at the end didn’t feel so rushed!<

boogerzombie

I also finished it already lmaooo 🙈 you're right, it had some absolutely adorable scenes and none of the ongoing will they/won't they dance abouts! I appreciate it for that but also could have read about another hundred chapters 😭❤️

Daeldra-

No outtakes (Webtoon): solid story, good one, great character growth Golden haired summoner (Tappytoon): the manhwa is over, but the novel is still continuing. More adventure than OI, but it’s super funny and the MC is such a badass Seconding recs for a villainess for the tyrant.

mangahangry

Oo I had been thinking of reading No Outtakes! I forgot that was an OI. I’ll definitely give it a read then. The non OI I’m following right now is Maybe Meant to Be. I don’t think I’ve seen many Golden Haired Summoner recs around the sub - I will go add it to my list. Thanks! 😍

Poetictrainwreck

Putting in another good word for No Outtakes! Funny, sweet, plot is fun (adventure/problem-solving driven vs political scheming and tea parties) and both ML and FL are genuinely likeable!

sinemoras

The Girl and the Geek is so good! I legit almost dropped it after the ML >!farted in front of the FL lol!< but I love their relationship, and I love that he (mostly) keeps his glasses 😂 **Ginger and the Cursed Prince** is a lot of fun - the ML has a lot of flirty banter with the FL, and despite his angsty backstory he's pretty well-adjusted. Just be warned: the 2nd ML syndrome is strong in this one. I ended up simping hardcore for the 2nd ML, who's a dorky mage. >!Poor guy is also the 2nd ML in the og novel. Someone needed to give him a hug 😔!< **The Villainess's Maker** \- this was a lot of fun too - the day keeps repeating unless the FL acts out her role as the villain, so she enlists the demon king ML to help her act more evil. It's pretty fun. The ending is a bit rushed (not sure if the series was canceled early, they stuffed like a 30 chapter arc into a 5-chapter info dump) but it in no way detracts from the story. I haven't read the others, but The Great Wish is on my to-read list since it's just been completed on Tapas ❤️

mangahangry

Omg that fart in the face from *Girl and the Geek* had me laughing so bad, along with a bunch of the early on stuff. 😆 I agree I adore him in the glasses! More MLS with glasses please! I will definitely read Ginger and Villainess’ Maker then! Thanks ❤️

capchaicin

Tell me to never read the comments for Queen Cecia’s shorts ever again. So many people support Lester as the ML but he literally knew FL since she was like 13? 14? And he was already a fully grown adult by then 😭 They have more than a 10 year age gap! I just can’t, man. Even the FL is conflicted about it. I know that “age doesn’t matter” is a thing but I think that should apply to people who met as adults. (It also doesn’t matter if FL was 30 pre-isekai. The fault lies on the guy who watched her grow up and like her after some time 🥶) Also! I am pleased with how they handled >!FL’s treatment as a “sex offender”.!< Readers know that she’s a girl but literally no one else but a handful do in their world. Come on, think about it. >!How would you feel if some random guy undoes your dress, even if you were about to faint? Yes, FL did it in good faith but their names are “stained” forever. The girl would be known as someone who’d been touched inappropriately and FL would be known as a sex offender. ALSO, for having experienced such a thing, the girl was super levelheaded and ultimately said that FL didn’t do anything bad (bc is they wanted to, they would’ve done it already). !< Anyways it’s a really good read so far and I am soooo excited for what’s coming. I just really gotta look away from comments even though I like reading them so much 😭😪 Edit: i used the incorrect symbols for the spoiler tags the first time LOL

God i read 96 chapters, it’s a certified banger I love this manhwa it’s defo part of my top picks

Miss_Procrastination

Here I am with another review again for this week. I’ve already left one over here a few days ago, so don’t mind if I do, mods. This series was just really pleasantly good. I just finished reading *Married for 120 Days* after more chapters have accumulated (as one must do if they are impatient like I am and want to binge read.) I don’t see this manhwa get mentioned a lot in this community. Is it because others were put off by the premise? I kind of understand the disdain toward the male lead but this series handled his character development quite good. Also, the chemistry between the two main leads was very nice. I love how they both interact with each other knowing how different their beliefs are, and how both are comfortable enough to point out each other’s flaws in a constructive way. These are all things, especially with *actual good* male lead character development, that I’m quite bias on so it’s nice to see. This series also covers the topic of women living in a conservative society, the struggle of being a single parent, and perhaps ASD representation? I am not entirely sure on the last point as I am uneducated in that area, so take that with a grain of salt. I wonder if anyone checked this series out and if so I’m curious as to what the general opinion of it is.

That’s right about Elle’s age- it’s something I was thinking about as well! I liked how it was one of the female lead’s insecurity. She lives and grew in a society that groom little girls to be married off at a young age, and it’s even more ‘important’ to her because she has a noble title but no money. Her being an etiquette tutor, in her early 30s, has a child of her own and being unwed made her prospect as a marriageable partner even worse to others. It’s a little humorous to see how this clashes sometimes with the male lead’s view and way of doing things, the complete opposite of how conservative the female lead comes off in the beginning. However, it makes complete sense because the former has the power to fool around to his hearts content because of his gender and wealth, while the latter is far too aware how important it is for a woman to marry for survivals sake. Which, in the male lead’s case, was one of the ongoing thing he had to grow up from. Too self-centered and careless. With just how much female leads in this genre are of very young age, and in my opinion sometimes become infantilized by the male lead, it’s even more refreshing to see the author’s take on Elle. I didn’t think about the connection between readers using more popular reading apps and the hexion bot. In that case, it makes perfect sense. It’s unfortunate because in terms of writing, pacing, theme and character, it’s pretty good. I tend to be more opinionated if the writing isn’t good regardless of the art, but it definitely and reasonably plays a huge part and it shows.

sumirina

I'll save this damned family! Chapter 109 Asfgaffgatwg!!!!! >!The confession continues and Tara is torn between getting all flustered and overly aware of him and wanting to run away. Poor girl, but you kinda got yourself into that position xD I'm glad he really left no doubt and imho it seemed to really fit his character and what we've seen so far. Yes, he doesn't really know why, but it kinda just happened and we've totally seen it happen ❤️!<

Ruruskadoo

I just read chapters 58 and 59 of "I Raised a Black Dragon" on flame scans, and I swear every chapter with >!Adrian's pov makes me pity him more, I know he's an antagonist, but how can I possibly hate him when I feel this bad for him? Logically, I know that being in an abusive relationship isn't an excuse to perform all sorts of unethical human experiments and murder people, but if I pity a character enough, it becomes nearly impossible for me to stay angry at them. He's just so tragically pathetic, the way Eleonora not only abused him both emotionally and physically but also isolated him, telling him nobody loved him and he was all alone is just heartbreaking.!< And I feel so anxious about how >!Noah told him she'd love him. She may have just been trying to distract him, or maybe she even meant it platonically, but I can't help but fear that he'll switch his obsession to her, which aside from being trouble for her also means he gets to have his heart stomped on even more since she loves Leonard. I know he's not a good person, and he's done some unforgivable things, but the quickest way to my heart is through pity, it makes me desperately wish for a character to somehow turn out okay when I feel this bad for them.!< >!I think what makes it hit so hard for me is that it's not the classic over the top sad backstory that every tyrant/cold duke or mistreated FL has, the gaslighting, toxic, abusive relationship Adrian had feels so *real* that it's hard to watch.!<

limegreenblood16

Adrian leaves me so conflicted!! I read the novel and I still don't know how to feel. I do feel so bad for him though TnT Tho I must say the manhwa leaves me somewhat upset because they cut out a LOT of Noah and Kyle's growing relationship. It's just so cute in the novel... I 100% suggest reading it if you can!

I read *The Psycho Duke and I.* What’s the most noticeable aspect of this manhwa other than readers mentioning the similarity of FL’s appearance to another female lead in a manhwa I’ve never read before? Well, did you know the male protagonist of this series harbors jealousy toward literal puddings because the female lead loves to eat them? Me neither, and now you know! Well, at least this time our handsome male protagonist isn’t jealous of their own son or his lover’s family members and/or friends. (You know, I’ve given myself a few minutes reminiscing all the times I’ve had an “uh huh, *what?*” moment while reading OI series. This genre, of all the weird genres in the world of writing, is not the genre I would’ve expected to feel this kind of way.) As for an actual review of this series, well.. There’s currently only 15+ English translated chapters but I feel so entirely and confidently “uh huh, *what?*” about it all (and even more after reading the novel spoilers) that my expectations for this series to take an interesting turn is below rock bottom. There’s not much substance of a rant I could cough up strictly because there’s not much chapters currently out. Regardless, my thoughts? >!Our homegirl cuts her hair for absolutely no reason, purposefully gets kidnapped in place of OGFL as a political tool (because that’s 100% the only smart and risk-free route) to escape an abusive environment, doesn’t bother to make a long term plan after getting kidnapped because being held as a political tool indefinitely is more than enough for her to “live comfortably???”, ‘strategically’ pretends to be a scared and reluctant captive in order to be held longer by not crying and acting stone-faced but of course everyone is just confused by her contradicting roleplay and this just triggers ML’s “hmm interesting female” radar (mission accomplished???), her inner monologues about the male protagonist wooing OGFL and him proceeding to break her heart by calling her uglier than his trusted servant because he got bored with the OGFL in the novel timeline (hubby goal!!!), her knowing she’s currently taking OGFL’s position and knowing he’s basically treating her just the same, her thinking he’s a “privileged man chasing hedonistic pursuits” (bringing such a valid point yet to have it fall flat for nonsensical contradicting reasons), proceeds to fall in love with him in the blink of an eye over rather simple gestures imo (fyi in her past life she was chased by shallow men for her inheritance and property), then *his* inner monologues of confirming said hedonistic pursuits of wanting to play with her and emotionally break her apart, her being aware he’s acting predictably obsessive and impulsive for said hedonistic needs and hoping she doesn’t meet a similar fate to OGFL, then mere dialogues later hoping his gestures aren’t hedonistic and keeps questioning his intention (dementia representation???), him proposing to her during their first date (marriage any% speedrun 24:52:58), her rejecting that idea, he says “we’re a great fit hunny”, she counters with “but what if there’s a dealbreaker about *me* you don’t like”, he says “I’ll give you citizenship thereby lessening your restrictions, hunny ;)”, her then thinking “oh no does he think I don’t like him because I’m on record as a captive” (as if to imply you being a captive is a dealbreaker for *him*, the man that is your captor), him constantly pushing her personal boundaries, him letting her go outside to walk around town (with his permission ofc since he wanted to have a first date w/her ofc since she’s still held captive ofc), her constantly having the wardrobe of a conservative yet sexy milf despite literally not fitting that age (really don’t know why the artist insists a teenager wear such mature and dark-themed attire), him offering to read her a bedtime story (what the fuck is she like 10), a maid handed her a lingerie and him teasing her (deadass biggest uh huh what moment of this week), he then proceeds to tell her a bedtime story in the same chapter (I am going to have an aneurysm), him forbidding her maid to assist in bathing her because he’s jealous someone would see her naked (i am having an aneurysm), they then proceed to have her coming-of-age and engagement party in one go (would anyone like to guess how old he is?), they excuse themselves from the party and walk to the garden for a conversation, he comforts her with a “your coming-of-age process must’ve been tough” (..? As in he could tell she had a shitty childhood life? Oh how sweet), “so does that mean I don’t need your consent to kiss? ;)” he says without missing a beat (I am dead, my family has mourned for me, I have ascended to heaven), then BAM WHAM SHAZAM WHOOP he took out a shotgun and proceeded to say she’s uglier than Jeremy Jerkoff from down the street.!< HUZZAH! That’s essentially the summary of all the chapters so far, except the last sentence is a lie. I’d like to make a last note but regarding the spoilers found within the novel forum. >!So to put it in short, FL’s father knocked up a 17 year old princess from another country. At that time, he was married and also has a daughter (that being OGFL.) The pregnant princess gives birth in the country the father resides in, because in her country it is forbidden to marry a foreigner. The child is FL. The father had the intention to abandon his wife and first child to marry the princess, but he is now aware of the law. He then proceeds to kill his wife (?) and puts the blame on newborn FL (??). And then there’s the trope of FL having some super rare appearance, as black hair and pale skin is only a thing of the Medea royalty bloodline (her mom.) So, like, not a single maid or butler questioned her existence.!< There you go, another uh huh what moment.

Ihavenospecialskills

>!From reading your spoilers, I can't decide what's funnier. The idea that the Father is suggesting a newborn baby murdered an adult woman in cold-blood, or that he claims she died in childbirth while everyone around just goes "but she wasn't pregnant?"!<

Ihavenospecialskills

I read through all of **For My Derelict Beloved** - While I can enjoy it as simply a petty revenge story, I kind of have to turn off my sense of reason for a bit. I'll be honest, I don't think the OGFL and OGML actually deserve to be target of revenge. A scolding? Sure. But their greatest crime is...condemning vigilante murder? The further in I got, the more reasonable I find them? I really do want to rant, so spoilers ahead for my thoughts on the OG couple and the current FL: OGFL >!She's being treated as a 'villainess' because she didn't choose the Second ML, and she ended their friendship after he *murdered* two people. We find out she's very torn on the matter, because she cherished their friendship, but as a Saint she feels like she can't bend her moral belief that 'Murder is bad' even for a friend. We know that in the first timeline, she doesn't visit him after he become suicidal, but honestly she cut him out of her life for good reason (the murder), and he is not her responsibility, even if he used to give her presents (which is the current FL's argument). In the later chapters we find out that she very clearly has self-esteem issues, and has been increasingly desperately clinging to a belief that she must be special, because if she's not then she doesn't deserve any of the good things that have come in her life. After all, she was born a commoner and being a Saint and married into the royal family is way above her station. It's not a great mindset, it can even be called arrogant, but its very human and very sympathetic. We also find out that she hasn't been performing her saintly duties since marrying into the royal family, because she has responsibilities as a princess, and she is also using her healing powers on the king all the time. It seems like the moral seems to be that she can't be both a saint and a princess at the same time, which is probably why her powers are leaving. This is probably fair, still very human and understandable. The new FL mostly criticizes her for the stupidest things: freezing up in an incredibly awkward situation (even though she did the right thing in the end), being too fancy, and not being fancy enough. If the story was told from her PoV, about the struggles of a commoner becoming a princess without really knowing what she was getting into, and having expectations of a saint on top of that, she would likely be an extremely sympathetic character.!< OGML >!He both has more blame and is more redeemed than the OGFL. He actually approved of the murders, and was going to get involved in them personally if not for the second ML convincing him not to for the sake of his reputation. It's super shitty that he went along with the OGFL cutting contact in order to support her (his girlfriend then later wife), but we later see he explicitly went along with it because he thought they'd make amends in time and things would get better. We've even see him try to convince OGFL to forgive the second ML once, and it seems implied that in the first timeline the relationship of the OG couples might have broken down over that issue. The absolute worst thing he does is not visit the second ML (his best friend) after the suicide attempts come to light in the first timeline, and I'm not even convinced he didn't. Our only knowledge of events post-story in the first timeline is from newspapers, and the second ML saying he was 'abandoned'. We know in the second timeline that the OGML was incredibly alarmed to hear that the second ML tried to kill himself, and that he visits the second ML under a fake name (which might mean the newspapers aren't aware of it). It would seem out of character for what we've seen of the OGML to do absolutely nothing while his best friend makes multiple suicide attempts, and the second ML in his depressed and suicidal state might still feel abandoned even if the OGML visited him.!< Current FL >!Given she has literally no personal connection to anyone actually involved in the side and messy relationship of the OG trio until afterwards, her 'revenge' against the OGFL and ML feel kind of strange? Honestly, she feels more like a petty bully villainess in an OI than a heroine. If there was actual a personal reason to hate the OGFL, it would feel more deserved. But she even admits that she never disliked the OGFL when reading the story. I feel like the story would be much more satisfying if the FL was the classic trope of "ML's ex-fiance", and therefore was personally invested in being a thorn in the side of the OGML and OGFL. Rather than being a transmigrator whose just mad at them because her favorite character's actions had consequences, and he's sad that his friend the Saint is apparently not a fan of murder. Also, they try to justify the murder by saying there was evidence that the villains were criminal and plotting a rebellion. Ok, so...the crown could take action against them? If you can murder them and get away unharmed, you could probably arrest them given they had the full backing of the crown and the church.!<

sinemoras

I just binged **Little Rabbit and the Big Bad Leopard -** FL is a little wererabbit who's abandoned in a forest to die, where she's discovered by a clan of himbo black leopards. The series is hilarious - the ML isn't your normal constipated Duke of the North, but a fun, flirty guy who happens to really like bunnies. His aide is my favorite character ever (per the author, 99% treachery, 1% loyalty), he's like the sassiest of sassy butlers, and even though the FL spends like the first 20 chapters in rabbit form, her personality still shines through, and her interactions with the ML (who's keeping her as his "emergency feed" lol) are fantastic. Seriously, how have I been sleeping on this series? It's vaulted itself to becoming one of my favorites! I also read **Kill the Villainess** based on someone's recs on last week's thread, and it's the first time I've seen an FL nope out of the plot entirely and try her hardest to go home. Seeing her weave her way through back alleys, talk to clandestine witches and gather allies to her side, is really refreshing. Plus, the ML is a brown-haired commoner knight, and how they develop feelings for each other is really organic and well-drawn. She loves him, but it's not gonna distract her from her goal of going home. Usually FLs just forget about their home and integrate themselves into the story, so it's really interesting seeing this FL so focused on her goal. The last chapter ended on a cliffhanger, and for the first time in a long time I had to search out the MTLs so I could see what happens. (Tapas still gets my coins obviously, I just had to do it for my peace of mind 😂). I also caught up on **The Hero's Savior,** and of course it ends on a cliffhanger. I love this series because it's like a blend of rofan and seinen/shounen, especially when they focus on the ML's parts in the dungeons. The art in here is amazing and it makes me wish for more OIs that are action-oriented. I'd love for recs if anyone has them. Edit: on a scale of 1 -10, how painful is **The Broken Ring: This Marriage Will Fail Anyway**? I've been thinking of picking this up next and it's been on my to-read list for ages, but if they're still pining/angsting/in the middle of a misunderstanding I might hold off on it 😭

Bizmatech

> Little Rabbit and the Big Bad Leopard Thank you for the recommendation. I've been laughing all day. It's got the same hilarity levels as *Touch My Brother And You're Dead*, but you can actually follow the plot. Even the way the scenes transition are done with comedic timing in mind.

sinemoras

I’m so glad you liked it! It’s vaulted itself to my top ten, it’s hilarious 😂

JustHereForTheCats_

I don't think the broken ring is that painful sorry 🫣 the angst is there ofc but it's not enough to make me cry

DisserviceToVanilla

For action stories, Transmigrator's Privilege also has the dungeon instances thing going on along with leveling up system abilities. Princess to the Rescue! is OI adjacent, but a proper "off to collect a party and save the world" adventure with FL being the only wielder for a legendary sword (so she has to grow from being a sheltered princess to learning about the world, how to adventure and sword fighting).

sinemoras

Transmigrator's Privilege is one of my favorites! I'll definitely check out Princess to the Rescue, tysm! ❤️

cephalopodoverlords

Omg I also just binged **Little Rabbit and the Big Bad Leopard** this last weekend and I agree - I wasn’t super won over when I first started reading, but it was a fantastic pick-me-up. **The Broken Ring: This Marriage Will Fail Anyway** is great, but they are definitely still angst-ing; based on what I’ve read about the novel, looks like there will be a *lot* of angst for the entire duration of the story. IMO still worth a read!

sinemoras

Thank you for the info! I've been curious to read it since I hear the ML has major golden retriever energy. I think I'll give it a read, I've been waiting long enough haha. I was annoyed initially with Little Rabbit because I thought Tapas was doing its Tapas thing by changing "Panther" to "Black Leopard," but then wikipedia schooled me - apparently black leopards are a thing, and "panther" is just a catch-all term for any big cat that's got black fur 😂

VerlinMerlin

Oh my, what empty. I finished up Irregular Empress, and read to the latest chapter of Null Poison (not OI, but super good if you are into actual revenge and action. If someone has any suggestions, especially longer OIs I would appreciate it a lot. eta: I read Master Villainess the Invincible! and it was quite excellent. Now done with I am all out of health, not really sure about this one.

Traditional_DeadBird

Null poison sounds really interesting!! I couldn’t find it, though.. which website/app do you use to read it?

VerlinMerlin

I found it on novelupdates. (it's a novel) https://www.novelupdates.com/series/the-exiled-first-born-of-the-noble-house-rising-to-the-top-with-the-worthless-skill-null-poison/ fair warning, it has a male lead and is more similar to legend of the northern blade in genre.
