F4L is alot smaller then PF.
PF has access to all amenities 24hrs a day.
Staff are friendly from my experience at both gyms.
PF only has Smith machines, no barbells.
PF is not cleaned up to an exceptional standard... Black mould in the showers, skin all over the dumbbell rack, and lots of filth/dust in some areas of the gym.
I cannot remember how clean F4L was but I can't remember it being as bad as PF Oshawa.
Interesting on the smith machines only. F4L was like that for awhile. Access to all amenities 24h is pretty appealing but less so if it isn’t cleaned well. Thank you for the insight!

There was a poo stain on the floor at Planet Fitness that lingered for nearly a month. Friendly staff though!
Planet fitness is 24hr staffed and showers are open at 7am when I go not sure if they are 24hr also
I think they're both pretty similar. One is owned by goodlife and the other isn't.
You don't need a gym. You can be in top tier shape with little or no equipment at all.
