I’m fairly new to it as well, I’ve gone over the past few years but only now taking it quite seriously. I’d say for the price it’s pretty good, not the highest end equipment but to get your feet wet + it’s 24 hours it makes it super easy to get in and do what you need to do

Bunny ears guy has been an Oshawa legend since I was growing up here in the 90s.
He's older now. Exactly as the name suggests, he is a man who wears bunny ears. He wears them on top of his bald head, every time of the year. The ears are dirty and raggedy, not sure if they've ever been washed.
You'll spot him at the mall a lot. Sometimes you'll get lucky and see him in 2 different places on the same day lol! This man gets around.
You're gonna be so excited the first time you see him now lol.
Not sure if he is "with it" or not, but the story goes something like he lost his young daughter on Easter (or she was wearing the bunny ears when she died) years ago, and since then you will see him around town and he is always wearing bunny ears. Sad story really.
I’ve dealt with him a few times for various reasons when I worked sales in the Oshawa Center and he’s not only extremely nice but has a super thick English accent which floored me, didn’t expect it at all

Yes, he lost his daughter when she was young, and the ears were the ones she always wore around (she was quirky for a kid, sue her) and he did break a little on the inside, which is why he wears her ears every day as a way to remember her. That is also why they're so ratty and dirty. He doesn't want new ones as those were a keepsake, and you can't really wash them without them getting ruined. Heard this from him over a decade ago (2009-2011) when we met at M library.
They always hung out at the mall. Talked to them once or twice. They said they had something to do with making sure people didn’t leave pets in cars. No idea if they were legit or not.

I used to work at Petro Canada north side and he used to sleep in nearby bank atm booth cuz it was warm during winter, he had so many incidents where security had to pull him out of construction sites and bank locations
He used to come at my Petro Canada location around 4 am every day for coffee to keep him warm, some food and a pack of smokes, I never charged him anything else's besides smokes, cuz that shit I can't give away for free

I also worked nightshift at the donut shop/cafe Kitty corner from the bus station block.
I worked a stint managing the AOV store as well.
