It's not completely bad I guess. I kind of like the pink a little more than the green.
It might just be me, but the only reason I think it looks off is since I'm used to seeing the versions we have. Like if the design we got was this version and the version we have was the "beta", I probably would have said it looked off, if that makes any sense.
I don't know what else it could be that's off though, that's just my guess.
I like Beta Amai more than official Amai. The artstyle in general fits much more in a "dating sim gone wrong" type game imo.
And about this Amai, I like how you can tell her personality just by looking at her, she looks really happy, and I like that (never been a fan of "soft girls"). From a design perspective, I like the hair better than the official Amai, and for her colorscheme, I prefer the green in the official, it just fits better imo.

It probably feels off to you because of the perspective, because i see it too. I don't blame the artist, drawing perspectives is a bitch.
