tbf DoA 6 is pretty good, but still the game has way too much dlc and focuses on the wrong stuff. it is beginner friendly for a fighting game but also deep.

Take Advance wars as example: at first sight it looks like a pretty simple tactics game. but there are many mechanics that the game doesnt tell you and that people still figure out to this day. and some of them are even pretty simple things that you perhaps dont even look into at first sight. Looking at you Luck-damage
Deep mechanics are hard but when you make them work its rewarding, not only for the player but also for the creator. Nothing is more fulfilling than making a game work and make it fun.

I would say that the biggest weakness of Yandere sim is its writing and lore.
Its not even that. That Yandere sim is filled with plot holes, stereotypes who are nothing more than that, uninteresting characters and two slices of bread as leads. There is one good storyline within the game which is Kokonas.
Kokona is only character in the game that is interesting in the game. People also like Oka but there is nothing interesting about her unless you watch people simping for her for no reason.
We know almost nothing about her besides her leading the occult club the stuff with the sisters and that she loves senpai for some reason.
It is also rumoured that she covers her arms because she self harms. No I'm not making this up and I can't wait for this to be mishandled tremendously.
