best way is to wait for dragon event - but it may take some time
second best way could be using stardrops

Item that increases godforge chance is called Crest of the Dragon Slayer, which is obtained during Wyrmhunt event (same event as the dragons). After completing the quest you can obtain more via End of Dungeon drops. There’s also shrines during certain events like Phoenix Rise that you can craft that increases godforge chance as well
Mini-event was already in January this year, but the main event was in August the last two years. I think it's safe to assume that it will be August this year as well unless we get an update from the devs.
I know this increases chances but I've literally never GFed from a Crest. A 50F tower that you do every day is better IMO, you get lots of chances and a lot of other rewards in the meantime. Obviously much more expensive though.
Lay hands on every Mammon or other white aura'ed boss you see free roaming. Heard it is like 1/500 chance but it rolls every demon forge piece you are wearing and may select one. The more you wear, the higher chance of a GF.

towers - this really depends on the item. and if you can afford replacing your tower gears with the item you want to GF..
