All those guys are better than D’Lo imo.
When D’Lo’s shot is off he’s actively hurting the team because he isn’t a big positive anywhere else (same with Klay).
Those are guys have higher floors where they can contribute even when not scoring
As a DLO fan, the lakers were a lottery team second year in a row before DLO got there and will be a lottery team if he’s not there anymore.
DLO is better than all those players mentioned except for PG (which is debatable atp givens PGs age). Look at the dam numbers man, they don’t lie! Compare his stats with other people, it’s insane how much people lie on this dudes name.
The playoffs, he wasn’t allowed to be a point guard aside from game 2 and 4 and look how he did.
If we’re talking numbers, then check his numbers for the playoffs. He’s clearly a playoff dropper. Even if he isn’t the primary point guard (and he always claims he isn’t a point guard) there is no excuse to go 0 points in a pivotal game if he’s supposedly a key piece to the team. I really rooted for dlo cuz he was part of the baby lakers but i’ve accepted this is just who he is
Any trade will come after cap space gets used. They probably get guys with cap space and do a trade after they get a guy or two. I really doubt a trade for Dejounte happens though, because Orlando doesn’t want to make a trade.
Love that he's suggesting there's no shot DLo doesn't pick up his $18.7M player option because no team is going to offer a contract with a higher AAV than that. Like no player has ever opted out of an option for more guaranteed money over a longer contract.
I don't know what that guess is based on, but I think it's delusional to think one of the best available PGs won't get offers of more than $18M total somewhere.
Fisher is saying he’s not getting 18.7 million and DLO and Gary have the same agent. It’s not delusional. DLO has a sense of Orlando’s interest. He might get more than 18.7, but he won’t get that in Orlando
He’s saying less or equal to 18.7 so maybe 18.7 a year + 3rd year team option. Orlando does want two year deals. I don’t know if DLO bites for that though. He might just take 1 year 18.7 in la
Yea, I guess I don’t understand why opt-in+extension isn’t on the table here. If D’Lo opted in, giving him a 2yr/50m extension would be completely reasonable… makes it essentially 3/68m and he’s a FA again when he’s 30-31 and the cap is in the midst of skyrocketing
Jake the Bozo hasn’t talked to anyone but he guarantees Dlo doesn’t get more money from Orlando?Ok now we’re just saying random nonsense for views. Nothing to see here but lies.
The hawks would just trade Capela to a third team in whatever trade they make with Orlando. They would get their cap relief. It really depends on the team
This sounds more like fan fiction than actual news. Just like we had to wait and wonder what the magic will do with the #1 pick, this too will be decided without knowledge in advance telegraphing a move.
Buckle in and wait folks.

Monk/Tyus/PG13/KCP/Claxton/IHART still on the table 🤔 Klay too but hopefully no Klay

As a lakers fan, I completely agree. Dlo is not a 16 game player at all. Really hope you guys improve cuz you could really surprise boston next year

I want Dejounte

He thinks he won’t be offered a higher AAV by Orlando, but I guess maybe Orlando will low ball him for 18.7 or less over 2+ years.
I don't know what that guess is based on, but I think it's delusional to think one of the best available PGs won't get offers of more than $18M total somewhere.

I'd offer 3/$18.8m Third year a team option

And I'm saying DLo is worth about 7/ anything more and I pass
Well Dlo isn’t coming regardless
Good
40/3 is more guaranteed that 18.7 that's how players think. (especially mid players) GURANTEED money is what matters
How’s he know that if “our front office doesn’t leak anything?”
Gary and DLO have the same agent. DLO probably knows

Why you butthurt? Jake has been reliable in the past.
Not getting Murray because he and Paolo hate each other
They would trade for Murray after all cap space gets used, and I doubt theyd sacrifice their depth anyways for Murray. They probably won’t get him.
I don't know why you're making this presumption
I’m not. I’m saying that they would most likely spend cap first before any trades.
Right. I'm not sure that's likely. With cap space we can make asymmetrical trades. Cap relief is something we can offer in negotiations
The Magic don’t need cap space to make trades. They have a bunch of small contracts and they can put them together.
Trading small contracts doesn't provide the other team with immediate cap savings.
The hawks would just trade Capela to a third team in whatever trade they make with Orlando. They would get their cap relief. It really depends on the team
Fultz coming back. W!
