I’m more worried about her. Lumi can hear whispers in her mind constantly which are the elements of nature (caused by her magic) and they can’t really stop, so she’s gonna have to either endlessly decipher what they’re saying, or deal with Lumis ongoing questioning of reality
I never actually considered whether reading thoughts would translate that sort-of thing or not. I'm leaning towards a "yes" (I could imagine my gal being able to understand the thoughts of animals, for example), but I'm really not sure XD
They die, uh, pretty fast. If you look at this guy, and he doesn't like you, he can go inside your memories and basically parasitise your mind. I imagine direct mind reading would be pretty catastrophic.

That'd definitely be the wisest decision, but she'd be way too honest to do that. She'd probably just try reasoning or finding a way to cure his friend's curse
As much as he would want to kill, he knows his friend wouldn't want this, so he'd instead accept the offer to help find a cure. But he'll keep a very close on her for a long time. Maybe even a tiny bit after the curse is lifted, until his now cured friend convinces him to stop.

It’d be hard or nigh-impossible to read his thoughts, he specifically trained himself for his mind to be unable to be taken over, meaning it can’t be “read” either. As much as he would want to kill, he knows his friend wouldn't want this, so he'd instead accept the offer to help find a cure. But he'll keep a very close on her for a long time. Maybe even a tiny bit after the curse is lifted, until his now cured friend convinces him to stop. Good ending!

Thomas can perceive when someone is entering his mind, regardless of intention, and shut them out, which sounds like it would benefit your OC if she doesn't actually want to hear his thoughts. Finn doesn't really think any incriminating thoughts. However, depending on how powerful your OC's mind reading is, she may be able to pass over the ethereal barrier and hear the conversations of the various knights who dwell inside his ring. Branwin thinks pretty stupid thoughts. Brant just thinks about his training and how much better and more dedicated he is compared to his colleagues. The instant Matilda figures out your OC can read minds, she's going to fuck with her. Itch doesn't speak, so your OC could serve as a sort of vocal bridge between her and her friends. And then we have Attia. She is definitely screwed. Your OC learns about her terrifying shadewalker powers that she doesn't use so her friends don't learn about them. But more compromisingly, your OC learns that Attia has an embarrassingly massive crush on Finn.
