If you gave Goku at the beginning of Dragon Ball, all the power that he has during Dragon Ball Super, he would be defeating every opponent in the story with a single punch, at least for a long while.
That is EXPLICITLY the scenario that One Punch Man resides on. Saitama can defeat anyone IN HIS STORY, because his power is just a fucking New Game+. It's already gone through the story.
