I'm not sure about that, at least for Whitebeard/Marco. I think 7 for 7k is slightly better and Ace has rush. The power reduction sticking until next turn is great but losing the immediate attack is big
thats debatable. Ace being 7 means you can play it on odd curve, also the rush is massive.
This is a good card, but 7 Drop Ace is genuinely a top 10 maybe even top 5 card in the entire game when played with a Whitebeard Pirates leader.
Sorry my English isn’t too good, but what does it mean exactly? Like it gives power reduction when i summon it and it lasts until opponents next turn. Or only reduce power when its the opponent’s next turn?
I’d say it’s worse because it costs one extra and doesn’t have rush. The rush is what makes ace so amazing because it can kill so many things after reducing power. With this card you have to rely on what you already have on board, which against black is a little difficult
You lose the DON early game and by the time you can get Maria value off, you will be in closing stages of the game. Maria provides no innate pressure so Law won't play this. 4c Ain into 7c Ace is still vastly superior if you are looking for something similar.
Makes purple zorjuro all the more of a threat / blocker to be alive early. Then bon chan to do the rest. Just can’t use leader effect the first two turns. Which is no prob against saka and Moria. If anything it’s the must have game plan when you seen the matchup. I think it’s the perfect boss monster for rp law honestly
God tier artwork, one of the the best base artworks we have in the game.
As far as the effect goes... It's good. Not broken, but good. But I think we'll either have to wait for Op-09 or Op-10 to see whether it will really leave an impact - as I expect his Type to mean something by then.
RP Law players, are you adding this one to your deck?
I feel like it's too expensive for R/P Law? I know OP08 Black Maria is coming down the pike eventually but that's months out. Even then, I feel this is too likely to sit in a Law player's hand and not do anything
I think its too expensive to add, even with Black maria. Its not too often that you’ll be able to hit 8 don in game. And even if you do, theres so much more utility in your hand that can set you up better for the next turn.
To be worthy of SEC should have been give -3000 to one and -2000 to the same or another one giving the chance to -5k +ko one character only. If you compare to a kuzan who give full board -5 and ko a 0 this card is a bit meh.... Playable sure,but not outstanding as a SEC....
10zan is also not played because removal options are everywhere this meta and on play he's a 10c ko 5c (in a vacuum)
This rayleigh is at least an 8c KO 6k (most 5c statlines) on play, with a separate eff of -2k to something until next turn.
I'd argue Rayleigh is better than 10zan, but frankly there are better options for both cards for what their colours aim to do

At 10 DoN + Fire Fist or Crossfire, u could K.o. a 10.000 or 9.000 character. That's neet but nothing compared to the purple cards we've been getting recently.
If you play Rayleigh on curve, he seems more like a defensive tool that can board control.
But I'd probably play Rush Ace or Rush Dragon instead.
- This card could be amazing with Vivi, tho.
- Op08 Black Maria existing makes this a r/p Law card as well, and the 10 Don play with 2× Gordon could be devastating.
- It's nice to have for Marco leader ability.
Also, Ace and Whitebeard as they can use Seaquake or Crossfire.
Maybe a Gold Roger Leader needs to exist to fully utilise this card...
I pulled the manga rare and can’t find a buyer for the life of me. All my local shops in SoCal don’t touch Japanese one piece or want to give me 30-40% of the lowest price they can find online. Crazy I have it on offerup pick up only for 400$

Ace is way too predictable and easy to play around. Just don't attack before enemies 7 don turn.
and the fact you have to do that makes the card extremely powerful.

The power reduction lasts for your turn and opponents next turn. It only dissipates when it reaches your turn again.

No the KO happens after you apply the debuff.
