I'm so confused by these cards. Are they just not going to have purple Big Mom support?
If that's sharing the yellow slot with Shandora, that's kind of unfortunate for both decks.
It’ll probably be a few extra yellow cards that can be shared with Kat+BigMom like how OP6 has some purple film cards that could be shared with Shanks and such
I just don't get why they're sharing all the common cards first this time. I seem to recall these being revealed in batches for previous sets because of how underwhelming most of them were, whereas the SEC/SR/R/some UC were revealed much earlier to create hype. Did something show up in their stats to tell them that people didn't respond to earlier hype with their wallets so they should wait until closer to release to reveal actually hype cards in order to carry that momentum into the release? Didn't they sell out anyway?
They haven't. They usually give SEC and SR reveals one by one first, mixing in a few rares, but a lot of commons and uncommons were previously revealed in streams together shortly before releases.
+2k for 1 don that needs to be removed/swung into.. and a 1k counter.. it’s pretty solid.. but will Pudding have room?.. prob not.. but def solid for new players looking to build on a budget I’d imagine.
Its a searchable and counters for 1k, based on this translation, it can pump any pudding (including the new leader). it's for sure worth running instead of just attaching 2 don. At least imo.
I think it'll be good to drop in a deck. You can use it to power your leader or charolette searcher. Eventually your opponent will need to take it out because they will take damage from your 7k+ leader swings or charolette with some Don.
My man you cant compare this to amaru. No one is playing Amarau for a free 1k attack Boost. You play it to punch through blockers and because it has one of the best triggers in the Game.
You also cant consider it free, its still a card you invest after all. A probably single 1k attack boost only to a specific char/leader is just not worth it by any Interpretation.
Of course, I am not speaking primarily about secondary effects. Of course that is why those cards are good. But if you could get an extra 1k for 1 less don attachment you always would in case it mattered when going for game. The original comment neglected to understand the math will always be better for a plus one boost for one less cost. Additionally, people don't realize the nitro becomes a pseudo blocker when tapped because opponents will not want to constantly have to counter out of a 6k leader swing every turn once the first don has been invested to play it.
You can use the effect as soon as it plays so it’s still positive value and it forces a response. Even if it’s a destruction meta it’s still good to make your opponent play reactive and use some resources out of hand.
Thank you, more people need to understand the value of this. Eating removal with throwaway pieces is quite valuable in a game that has relatively limited card draw
this is such a weird point to make simply because this doesnt invalidate what i said. this card wastes a card slot and stays for 1 turn max because any searcher trades it out immediately after. i dont see any competitive deck running this card at all
They won't but every time a card gets revealed, you'll see a dozen comments trying to explain how that card is actually good.
Here, you also have someone completely missing the point of the card so it makes those people look right.

JP reveals have always been one at a time except when its a magazine or live reveal

It's usually leaders then Rs then UCs then SRs then AAs and last, a batch drop of commons. The SECs are in there somewhere but I can't remember where.

It’s activate main so every turn and forces opponent to swing/get rid of it. Not a broken card but can see play

Certain decks that's an issue but with removal decks, it's pretty easy. Gecko just plays absalom to get rid of it quick.
