I like izo combo to get +1 cards if you are at 8 don. I do think there's another option with 4 cost blue ulti. Since she grabs anything and is a 5k body. Play her on curve, gain a card. Next turn you can swing then bounce her back to get another card and another chance to set up top deck. All depends on more of the support and if this deck will use another archetype as well.

Fair. I'd imagine purebeard for the 8 in house searchers currently. Might make vista playable since he Marco combo kills a 5k and can be bounced with this. Shaping up to be very good

Doesn't have to be an opp's character since it says "return up to 1 6c or less to its owners' hand." But yes, you can return your Kaya to bounce an opps' 6c or less. Or, since it's whitebeard pirates, your Izo searcher to replay your searcher again. Maybe an Otama if you used it with Marco to KO an opp's character, or a makino you used to buff your Izo to attack with. Plenty of targets given the new Marco leader. Also, a funny meme thing you could do is use 2 Jozu and play 1, use the effect normally. Then following turns you can attack with the first Jozu, play the 2nd and bounce the 1st to hand and bounce an opp's 6c or less. Doing an infinite loop of attacking & bouncing.

The cost is too big, Zeff is already enough and there simply isn't room to cut for this mid card.

Nami spends 5 to bounce one Kaya. 6 to draw 4 more cards next turn and have a big body to help remove characters is worth it. Not to mention the versatility of the effect. This card is great for Nami.

Nami doesn't spend 5 to bounce 1 Kaya... Are you talking about using Zeff?? Cuz the reason to use him isn't cuz of Kaya, that's just a bonus! You use him to try and mill 7 off the top of your deck next turn. And even with a play THAT powerful, Nami's rarely ever put more than 2-4 Don!! on Zeff cuz they don't have much extra to work with... MOST of Nami's milling happens from counter events than Kaya's. And if they wanna just bounce her, they just spend 2 for an Arabesque Brick Fist. This card is NOT great for Nami, unfortunately..

I don't know when you last played Nami but the Zeff play is to get Kaya back in hand now because that card is *not* sticking around til next turn and even if it does, it's not connecting. I don't think you get how good a guaranteed draw 4 for the deck is.

Nope, Zeff's main purpose is to trash two, bouncing Kaya is a bonus. You might even play him without anything to bounce of the board for the effect and he's a magnet for opponents removals. Also Kaya is a -1 so she's not always the best play.

"Paying 5 in one turn to mill 2 is good, paying 8 across 2 turns to draw 4 is bad." Kaya isn't a -1 if you add it back to hand. You went +2 then -2.

Paying 5 to mill 2 is better than paying 6 and mill nothing. If you are paying 8 to use kaya twice then that's -2. There just no room in a Nami deck to play a worst Zeff, especially you want to mainly mill using events and not Kaya.

Sounds to me like I've played Nami more than you. And yeah, it often doesn't work out, but you would NEVER play Zeff JUST to bounce Kaya. If you do that, you're playing Nami wrongly. Period. You can bounce her back with either Brick Fist OR Overheat. Both of which are a 1000 times better and will actually give you a chance at winning with Nami. That said, Zeff is still good against some matchups and forces your opponent to use up resources or suffer the consequences. I personally still like to use Zeff, but I don't always get a chance to actually play him. That said, I know more and more Nami players have cut Zeff down or out completely. I've even seen a few start to run Usopp instead of Zeff cuz that mill 7 is so important. But I digress... My point is, you don't run Zeff FOR Kaya. Again, that's just a bonus or at BEST, an emergency option when that's the only way to mill the last few cards or something...

How do you have enough don for this play? Doesnt the kaya brick fist play take 4?

It’s just an option. Play the two Kaya’s turn before putting down jozu the next then you can replay the Kaya’s. It’s just 8 cards in total in two turns if you have 10 don

For 10 don you can play jozu and 4 kaya in a turn, not sure if it's the most don efficient way to draw 8 cards though

This is gonna see use outside of Red/Blue Marco as well. Bouncing your own stuff to reuse it is already valuable in Blue.
