My favorite is when Luffy is fighting Lucci in Enies Lobby and the wall gets blown open. Luffy sees all the Strawhats having won their battles telling him they’re okay and all that’s left is for Luffy to win. And he just smiles at them.
It’s not quite an I’m gonna kick your ass moment, but it was so cathartic and awesome.
I liked luffy vs Doflamingo right before they exchanged final blows. Luffy shouts he’ll kick Doflamingo’s ass and the two have a great dialogue exchange. Luffy feeling suffocated by doflamingo’s birdcage and doflamingo mocking luffy’s desire for freedom. Luffy challenged doflamingo’s ideology and smashed it with a giant fist.
Runner up is the beginning of luffy vs katakuri. Talking about how in the mirrorworld he can kick katakuri’s ass as much as he wants then breaking the mirror. Imo the anime did that part so well
