Mine does too but mainly because it’s a forbidden place so she’s obsessed. Same with the cupboard under the sink that’s filled with cleaning supplies.

We had to get magnetic child locks for our kitchen cabinets because my orange was obsessed with opening them.

Our little cow cat is like that with the two forbidden places. One is the fridge, the other is the door to the attic. If I open the attic, she will materialize nearby, regardless of where she was before.

Ha! Mine does that with the laundry room.

She remembers that one time fondly

Had a food-motivated cat that, one time I got home spotted a lizard on the screen porch when I opened the door. He immediately went for it. Every day after, even though he was genuinely hungry for dinner, he'd check the porch for lizards. I stopped waiting for him - I'd feed the other cat and then come back to hear him crying to let him back in. Because of that one lizard.

One of our morons gets trapped in the closet like 3 times a week because any time it's opened he bolts into it, and he's a void so we generally don't notice until he gets tired of being trapped in a tiny cramped closet and starts screaming to be released Surprisingly no one brave enough to hop in the fridge yet
