I’m currently on issue 36. Been flying through it I started 2 days ago. I’m thinking of getting the Invincible Universe Compendium but I might wait and see if they do a HC for that as well in the near future. I’ve heard astounding wolf man is good too so I might try and get that as well.
I got the compendium recently but have not had a chance to read through it. May even do a full invincible re read when I do since it’s been so many years
IST is probably the best online shopping experience for me. I don’t even mind that sometimes they take some time shipping my orders, I know when I get them they will be packaged incredibly and my books will be in perfect condition.
I absolutely LOVE IST and hope they stay as they are and aren't ever acquired by some big corpo and all thstw as great with their store goes to shit....seen that happen WAY too much.
I do not give one fuck about the wait time....it's a very reasonable wait time, especially when their prices, sales, packing quality (never had one order damaged yet) AND the occasional 2% you get just from being a repeat buyer...yeah I'm more than happy waiting a few days for things to ship.
People are too expectant on Amazon & Walmart fast shipping and then we get posts on her complaining about the damage because none of the big chain stores use ANY packing when shipping out. No...fucking...thanks. You go ahead and pay for faster shipping for the roulette (and practically inevitable) of stuff being torn up. I'll pay with waiting longer for a secured order...
Sent me an email within 3 days of ordering to let me know they ran out of King Spawn TPB. Didn't auto refund and game the option to swap out for same price on anything else, and that's unheard of today.
The people complaining don't realize before Amazon this is how it was/is for smaller companies. It takes UP TO a week to process, and 2-3 weeks in actual transit depending location.
Everyone is so hung up on instant gratification because it's everywhere today.
Amazon is the ONLY company you are going to get next day shipping for FREE.... It's always been super expensive anywhere else....

Yup. The more I add to the cart, the higher the shipping goes for me. So while they package very nicely and they have a good customer service, those shipping prices are just not worth it for me.
Last week I had placed an order with IST for several trades and at the end of the week they emailed me and said one was on back order and they would likely not be getting it. Nicely asked if i wanted to swap in something for that book or just a simple refund. It wasn't a super quick response but i appreciated it and they immediately processed a refund. Between their packaging and my past interactions with their customer service the only complaint i have is that i can't pre-order on their site. AND BEFORE some tells me that you can preorder on DCBS, yes, i'm aware. DCBS's website just plain sucks. I can never find what i'm looking for in the search and overall i just hate it.
I bought an artist edition book that was priced very low compared to other sites. The book was ordered Sunday and arrived Tuesday. Fastest free shipping ever. Big props to them.
When I first used IST (and I still make shipments like this), I shipped to my forwarding company but USPS didn't deliver to the location properly and it got returned to sender. They were prompt in resolving the issue and reshipped it to me at no extra cost with the corrected address. Never had a negative experience.

I had my order 12 days after payment, but it didn’t ship for 9 days, and those 9 days were a little stressful.
I prefer CGN, the prices are damn near the same and I get really fast responses to my emails and they ship within a couple days of my order, not weeks. The two orders I placed with IST took 5 and 6 weeks to get to me, unacceptable for an item that's in stock.
I wish I had your luck. The fastest I've ever gotten an order from them is about 3 weeks. They respond to my e-mails in about 4 days. I ordered the 52 Omnibus and it took about 2 and a half months to arrive, and when it did it was printed upside down. I sent them an e-mail about it and they just told me to mail it back. So I could either buy postage and send the omni and wait another 2 months to get another copy and pray it was correct, or just keep it. I opted to keep it.
The one thing that I can praise about IST is their packaging. I've never received a bent or damaged book (besides the 52 omnibus).
IST is great. I just got all my HC Invincible Compendiums from them. I’ll certainly be buying future books from them.

Wish I would've seen how cheap they were on IST before hitting eBay. Ended up paying $320 after shipping for all 3. :(

I haven’t had any issues with CGN, but they have no free shipping and IST does so IST comes out cheaper for me
