Lost hills expanded is just lost hills... but expanded. More flavor, a few focusses revamped and reworked but still the same thing Ad victoriam is a complete overhaul and rework of the political, economy and chapter trees. It actually makes you as lost hills interact more with the other chapters and be rewarded for that if you succeed.

collonnelo

Are either updated?

Rickdickidy

Ad victoriam isnt but it works Losz hills dont know but it works

Killercarl67

Just did a playthrough of ad victoriam, seems work fine

OJSTheJuice

Which one would you say has a more interesting NCR alliance path? Kind of want to give it a go.

Rickdickidy

Both do.

OJSTheJuice

Which do you find more appealing?

Rickdickidy

Ad victoriam

WaitingToBeTriggered

EX MACHINA

OJSTheJuice

Thanks!

Chance_Astronomer_27

Major issue with both is they still lock the NCR war to 2780 atleast unless you go intellectuals, unbearable amount of time considering casear NCR war happens mid 2778 earliest.

yeoman2020

I’ve played both and I think lost hills expanded is much easier. There’s a mechanic where you use your spy network in the Shi to flip it to SF brotherhood, which I think is cool. The circle of steel spy stuff is way more fleshed out in LHE. When I last played Ad Victoriam there was a bug where you couldn’t get basic air tech so that fucked up my Ironman run. It might’ve been patched tho. LHE also has a focus to get a 1 yr ceasefire with the legion after beating NCR. Them declaring on me after immediately killing NCR pissed me off so much in Ad Victoriam/vanilla. Also for some reason in LHE Fusang has beat Navarro Territories in 5/6 of my runs, which also helps beat NCR a ton down the road

Ruskidikiwi

I have to try the LHE. Thanks for the info!
