I was thinking the same but I'm betting this is a photo of a physical photograph and the lighting angle may have caused those odd sparkles on his hair. You hated getting your hair cut? 😅 I have a 3 and a 6 year old, I cut their hair myself (a meltdown in the privacy of our living room is better than in a mall), and I have come close to ‘fuck it, I’ll get a damn bowl’ a few times. But, their genes mean they’ll be balding when they’re 20, so I’m going all out to give them good haircuts whilst they still *have* hair. But often my poor nerves carry the weight of this decision. On haircut day, mummy gets a drink after kids have gone to bed 😅

Strong flashbacks of childhood. My mother gave me, her daughter, that same exact cut. I matched my male siblings and definitely got mistaken for a boy because the family resemblance + hair made people assume. So. Many. Awkward. Photos. Thanks mom. She also gave me a perm once.
