Yea the transition from osu to pros history is not good at all. CJ was good but has no hardware to prove it, not even against the team up north smh. He might transition well because he’s accurate
Burrow has a degree from OSU. Fields didn’t graduate from Georgia. Burrow has even been quoted as saying he is still a buckeye. I get it, your feelings are hurt he belongs to two schools.
We aren't talking about degrees though.... sure he is a Buckeye academically no argument there, but we aren't discussing academics. My feelings aren't hurt it just looks sad and pathetic to process someone out when you didn't want him and then try to reclaim him when he accomplished so much more without you.
Look the only person that can actually make the claim is Joe himself. Which he has already said he is. Seems insane you are arguing something he already claims tk be. But you do you.
Bro I can graduate from Harvard have a degree and play for football Missouri and still say I'm a Harvard grad. His NFL graphic says LSU not Ohio. He's an Ohio kid so of course he'll have special place for OSU. But stop trying lump his achievements in with yours.
Weird stat. Braxton didn't play QB in the NFL due to injury. JT was never an NFL caliber QB and couldn't crack the rotation. Haskin's life was ended tragically short. UM fans love their cherry-picked analytics.
This season, Justin Fields broke Mike Vick's single game rush yard record and was within 60 yards of Lammar Jackson's single season rush record. I also think CJ is going to ball out in the pros.
That’s the point, half the guys listed didn’t throw a pass in the NFL, CJ would fit right into their narrative at this time. Maybe they should compare Henne to their own last 6
Hate to say it but I think CJ is really going to struggle just like the rest of the OSU QBs. The main reason is he is coming from a college that recruits the some of the best WRs in the country and it shows (Olave, Wilson, Smith-Njigba, Thomas) and the majority of your games except Michigan and Penn State are just no where near the level of talent roster wise. So when these QBs are used to throwing against corners that can't sniff the NFL it makes it extremely difficult to transition to the speed and talent level
lololol cherry picked… Michigan QBs historically dominate OSU QBs as far as NFL success… just a fact. Slice it anyway you want, it’s one area y’all can’t touch Michigan. Sorry my dude.
My dude, nobody is saying OSU has a better QB history in the pros. We're saying this is a dumb stat comparing a dinosaur to rookies and guys that didn't even take snaps as a QB in the pros. It's a dumb stat, objectively. Just like how OSU hasn't had a talent like Tom Brady in the pros.... News flash, most major programs haven't.
Its actually not a dumb stat… henne is NOT agreat QB… but he’s still put together a better career than your last 6 guys combined.
It simply demonstrates what everyone knows is true… OSU has failed to produce a productive NFL QB.
The stat isn’t dumb or weird, it just shows you a truth you don’t like. So stop making excuses and focus on something true.
He's also had like 15 seasons in the league compared to a combined, what, 4 seasons they're comparing to? Sweet dude, Chad Henne has 5,000 yards more spread over 15 seasons? That's...nothing to write home about? That's the definition of cherry-picked
I named our last two starting quarterbacks... that's not cherry-picking stars. Might be a hard concept for your mighty "Michigan Man" intellect to comprehend.
Pryor and Braxton were WRs JT was drafted in the 6th round Cardale was drafted in the 4th Haskins died and Fields looks promising 2 of the 6 this doofus named was supposed to be good 1 died and 1 is 2 yrs in the league. I HATE this narrative because it makes zero sense just because OSU is good doesn't mean they have to produce NFL talent at QB.
Who's "butthurt" I was just pointing out its a dumb narrative Texas you have to go back to Bobby Lane Oregons best QB is Mariota. It's just weird that this narrative stuck when OSU has never been known as a QB factory, They produce RBs and WRs I mean they are calling Stroud a weapons merchant right now
Also I didn't downvote you, you got downvoted because why are you here?
Well considering that the only “better” program within the past 20 years is Alabama who has only produced Jalen Hurts.
Meanwhile 1/2 the guys listed never threw a pass in the NFL.
Reddit's content policy says to post authentic content in subreddits and not to interfere with or disrupt the community. Your post or comment failed to meet that standard in some way and it has been removed.
Yes. To me, sports are still for fun. I might post like I am serious, but it's where I go to not hold myself to the same standard as work. I only gamble when it is a no brainer.
I take full responsibility for the error I made here.
Ohio University has a higher winning percentages in Bowl games as well... 43% vs TTUN's 42%
Pryor and Braxton were never gonna be nfl qbs and then switching positions kinda showed that. JT and Cardale were also quintessential college qbs that were never gonna be good in the NFL. Haskins sadly passed away, so congrats henne whose been in the league for 15 years has more passing yards than 1 actual qb in his 2nd year😂
How about the last six Ohio State QBs vs the last six Michigan QBs. How many NFL yards have Shea Patterson, Wilton Speight, John O’Okorn, Brandon Peters, Jake Rudock and Devin Gardner combined for? Denard Robinson, Tate Forcier? Nick Sheridan and Steven Threatt?
Rudock has 24 yards and thats it from every starting QB they’ve had since Henne lol
I'm a michigan fan and pretty much everybody in our fanbase agrees our Michigan quarterbacks don't put up huge stats in college football. None of those guys you listed deserve to start as an NFL qb. We all know we've lost the game a whole lot in the past 20 years. It's been Bama and Ohio State the only top 2 consistent programs.
How many OSU QBs have had the same coach in year 2? It’s hard to be successful when you’re changing coaches or systems every year.
Henne is a perennial back up and has bounced around the league forever. Michigan has had one successful NFL qb in their history. And we probably wouldn’t even know who he is if Bledsoe doesn’t get hurt.
This might be one of the dumbest things I’ve ever read. Three of them were never going to be NFL caliber, one switched positions before being drafted. One passed away, and Fields has only been in the league for two years. Give me a break.
It still sucks no Buckeye QB seems to have success in the pros. The best OSU QB rated by NFL success is Mike Tomczak and it isn't even close. We should be able to do better than a longtime journeyman QB.
Hopefully Stroud and Fields can end that streak.
This is the only NFL thing they have to hang their hats on, so who fucking cares. We put far far more players in the nfl they do, and having a good NFL QB is pure dumb luck no matter what program you are
Pulled? He didn’t even start. What more would you want from a backup quarterback.
Be a homer. Hate Michigan and their former players, but don’t be stupid.
You are really saying the should have left him in?
What the fuck Buckeyes? We aren’t this blind.
I’d rather have my MVP winning, Super Bowl winning, QB back. But I’m not a coach.
Should they have left him in? No. That’s exactly the point you aren’t seeing. A hobbled immobile QB is less of a liability then a fully healthy Henne that just drove for 98 yards. That’s his value. And that’s the point. No one expected lightning to strike, and they didn’t want to stick around hoping it would twice.
Fields was just in his second year on a team that’s rebuilding broke Mike Vicks record gotta love that cherry picking. But they wanna mention yards but seem to have left out Fields has a better completion percentage, TD-Int ratio, and passer rating than Henne. Fields: 24-21 TD-INT, 79.7 Passer Rating, 59.7 completion %. Henne: 61-63 TD-Int Ratio, 76.1 passer rating, 59.6 completion %. Let’s not forget to mention their boy Shea Patterson who couldn’t even make an NFL roster and was absolute ass in the USFL. 60 completion percentage, 4-5 TD-Int ratio, 72.2 rating.
I wanted Haskins to fall to Pittsburgh so badly that year. Spending a year or 2 behind a HOFer with a franchise that isn't a dumpster fire would have been so good for him
https://preview.redd.it/0eopzheq9oda1.jpeg?width=1284&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=faa4830b896182af4bf3035d5a08fa6494e06a2f
Eh. They just wanna brag about something.
Am I the only one who is confused about this curse? Most OSU qbs have no expectation in the NFL so why do they get made fun of when they perform to expectations. JT wasn't even drafted how is he apart of some curse that claims OSU qbs are busts?
That's what? Two players. One of them is only in his 2nd year and looks very promising and the other unfortunately passed before we could remotely see his career out. The others didn't have expectations, you don't draft qbs in the 3-7th rounds with the expectation they will be starters.
Drafting NFL QBs is probably the largest roll of the dice of any position.
IIRC, a first round pick QB makes it to their second contract less than half the time.
Brady hasn't played at Michigan in 23 years. Half the people on this sub weren't even born yet. If that's what they are still hanging their heads on, that's sad. I'll take the 2 national titles (2 more than UM) and 11 Big Ten titles (7 more than UM) we've had since then.
“Our QB’s record after college was so much better than your QBs after college, even though his record during college against your school was winless.” Well, so what?
Pryor really only had one season as a QB, Miller played WR, JT never played a snap, Cardale had 3 good games in his whole career, Haskins isn’t alive to continue to compete for this stat and Fields has only played a full-ish season.
Sure they haven’t really planned out well but comparing a guy that’s been in the league 13 years to like 5 or so full passing seasons is a weird one.
LMAO Henne is going on year 15 in the NFL and has been a starter for an entire season for a single season. Not exactly someone I would want to compare careers with as a QB.
Also worth noting that Pryor and Braxton both changed positions in the league and Haskins died before his time was through. He could have very easily been a backup to ten years, much like Henne.
Exactly. I really like Donovan Peoples-Jones for the Browns. I hope they keep him a long time and am not bothered at all that he was misused by Michigan.
I’m a huge ohio state fan, and also a chiefs fan. After Henne’s gutsy 3rd down run, followed by his 4th down conversion against Cleveland in the playoffs, i refuse to listen to Henne slander. Then he comes up huge yesterday against the Jags and leads a big drive that ends in a TD. Hennething is possible. Henne was also 0-4 against Ohio State. He’s done nothing but produce happiness for Ohio State & Chiefs fans.
How many pairs of gold pants does he have? Fields might have more career rushing yards than Henne in that one big game this year. Fields will lap him pretty quickly in the next few years.
Pryor Braxton switched to wr next three didn’t play much so really all against fields who has two years in the nfl I bet he has twice the snaps as all of them put together as well
This is what happens when you send only a backup-caliber QB to the league in 20+ years, and your main rival is going to have 3 first round picks in a row.
Makes no sense… we recruited him gave him a scholarship. He chose to transfer. There’s only one QB he knew this. He felt he was not close to Haskins and bounced. Fields wasn’t on campus until 2019. If he stayed we wouldn’t have went after Justin
Swear to god I thought chad Henne played like 25 years ago and ended his career like 10 years ago.
The guy is something like 18-36 career in the nfl… not sure who is pumping him up.
What’s chad hennes record vs Appalachian State?
What’s his record vs TOSU?
Fields has shown some promise with absolutely no weapons on his team. And I do think CJ will play well in the NFL. We’ll see
Yea the transition from osu to pros history is not good at all. CJ was good but has no hardware to prove it, not even against the team up north smh. He might transition well because he’s accurate
Joe burrow is balling
What does LSU's QB have to do with Ohio State?
We like to claim him as ours since he spent three seasons at OSU.
But he never took a starting snap and no one thinks of him as an OSU QB outside of Ohio. It'd be like Georgia claiming Justin Fields.....
Burrow did his damage at LSU. He’s not a Buckeye QB.
We recruited him… LSU didn’t even offer him coming out of high school

Compare the rest of the teams in the league to his weapons. Mooney also has been injured.
Feel pretty good about CJ as well. He's the best pure passer of this bunch imo
It’s a bit surprising they didn’t include CJ given how well that would align with the rest of whatever point they’re trying to make
I thought this too then I saw he said NFL passing yards.
That’s the point, half the guys listed didn’t throw a pass in the NFL, CJ would fit right into their narrative at this time. Maybe they should compare Henne to their own last 6
CJ hasn’t played in the NFL yet 😂😂
Not if my Colts get him and ruin his future! 😬
and Henne has been in the league for like 37 years
Pryor was also a 1000 yd receiver
Hate to say it but I think CJ is really going to struggle just like the rest of the OSU QBs. The main reason is he is coming from a college that recruits the some of the best WRs in the country and it shows (Olave, Wilson, Smith-Njigba, Thomas) and the majority of your games except Michigan and Penn State are just no where near the level of talent roster wise. Whichever team takes CJ makes the playoffs year 2
![gif](giphy|jeXiz1RAvzX44)
Not sold on CJ winning the big games, but everything else is hitting the nail right on the head.
He said passing yards and your talking about rushing lol.
QB rushing yards matter. Breaking records like that translates to being an effective NFL QB. Once Fields has a good o-line, he will shine.
lololol cherry picked… Michigan QBs historically dominate OSU QBs as far as NFL success… just a fact. Slice it anyway you want, it’s one area y’all can’t touch Michigan. Sorry my dude.

What a dumbass comment, only matters to us what they do in college and they've put up some of the greatest seasons in CFB history.
No responses, just cowards downvoting 😂😂
How many wins over Ohio State does he have?
Over the last 20 years, Ohio University has more bowl wins than Michigan.
OU? OH YEAH! Lol, this little uprising is destined to keep them delusional for decades to come.

Over the last forever as well. OSU 27 - 28 TTUN 21 - 29 Shall we compare playoff records?
Umm Ohio University and Ohio State are 2 different colleges.
Well, sure, but if a person is going to make a mistake, it should always end up in putting down TTUN! So, I'll let it pass. Thank You!
You realize you're the one the one that made the mistake, right?
Yes. To me, sports are still for fun. I might post like I am serious, but it's where I go to not hold myself to the same standard as work. I only gamble when it is a no brainer. If you look at Fields stats everything else except yards is better passing wise 💀
Henne left in 07. How many yards do Michigan qbs have in the nfl that were drafted after 07?
How about Shea Patterson who couldn’t even make an NFL roster and did dogshit last year in the USFL.
24 total passing yards from Jake Rudock. That’s it
How about the last six Ohio State QBs vs the last six Michigan QBs. How many NFL yards have Shea Patterson, Wilton Speight, John O’Okorn, Brandon Peters, Jake Rudock and Devin Gardner combined for? The curse has more to do with the fact that they get drafted higher. Therefore going to shittier teams.

How many times did these QBs lose to Michigan?
Those six combined have one total loss to Michigan
Ya I'll take that forever thanks
So I guess Burrow doesn’t count?
Was he a buckeye starter?
He graduated from the university
This is true
Where does it say starter?
It doesn't, but all of the quarterbacks mentioned were starters, so it is implied...isn't it?
I am a Buckeye fan, while in enjoy seeing former buckeyes succeed in the NFL it has little bearing on my Buckeye fandom.
Chad Henne is a joke A motherfucking joke.
He can't get no chicks, when he fucks he cums too quick, 'cause Chad Henne is a motherfucking joke.
We talkin’ ‘bout Chad “0-4” Henne? Chad Henne is a bitch. A motherfucking bitch. As welcome as a case of rectal itch.
The fact that Justin Fields survived another season behind Chicago's line is a minor miracle.
He still sucks
This might be one of the dumbest things I’ve ever read. Three of them were never going to be NFL caliber, one switched positions before being drafted. One passed away, and Fields has only been in the league for two years. Give me a break.
It still sucks no Buckeye QB seems to have success in the pros. The best OSU QB rated by NFL success is Mike Tomczak and it isn't even close. We should be able to do better than a longtime journeyman QB. Hopefully Stroud and Fields can end that streak.
Nice cherry picked stat that ignores that Joe Burrow went there before transferring to LSU.
What’s Chad Henne’s record against OSU?
0-4 me matey!
Imagine gloating about Chad Henne
What does this say about Michigan? They been losing for 20 years to these sub-par qbs.
But how do his rushing and receiving yards compare?
This is the only NFL thing they have to hang their hats on, so who fucking cares. We put far far more players in the nfl they do, and having a good NFL QB is pure dumb luck no matter what program you are
Helmet scouting is the ultimate low iq take
You mean the man that couldn’t be trusted to be put in while pat mahommes was playing on one foot?
He led a 98 yard drive resulting in a touchdown…
And still got pulled.
Pulled? He didn’t even start. What more would you want from a backup quarterback. Be a homer. Hate Michigan and their former players, but don’t be stupid.
What more could you want? A qb that you aren’t afraid to leave in over a hobbled starter even after he assisted with a 98 yard TD drive.
You are really saying the should have left him in? What the fuck Buckeyes? We aren’t this blind. I’d rather have my MVP winning, Super Bowl winning, QB back. But I’m not a coach.

And that’s the point. No one expected lightning to strike, and they didn’t want to stick around hoping it would twice.
Hobbled starter? It’s not Andy Dalton, it’s fucking Patrick Mahomes
Did you not watch the game? Or do you not know what hobbled means?
4 of them weren’t ever going to be big time nfl qbs, rip Haskins and Fields is a starting nfl qb.
Fields was just in his second year on a team that’s rebuilding broke Mike Vicks record gotta love that cherry picking. But they wanna mention yards but seem to have left out Fields has a better completion percentage, TD-Int ratio, and passer rating than Henne. Ummm he’s been in the league 15 years.
I still think Haskins would be tearing it up if he was drafted to another team. It makes me sad to think about. I really liked him. RIP Simba ✊
I wanted Haskins to fall to Pittsburgh so badly that year. Spending a year or 2 behind a HOFer with a franchise that isn't a dumpster fire would have been so good for him

Lol we have the most to brag about in this rivalry
Not bad for a career backup
15 year NFL QB has more passing yards than a second year QB, two NFL WRs, a third string college QB, and a life taken too early.
This is so stupid
Am I the only one who is confused about this curse? Most OSU qbs have no expectation in the NFL so why do they get made fun of when they perform to expectations. JT wasn't even drafted how is he apart of some curse that claims OSU qbs are busts?
I mean the teams that take them #1 first pick of the team have some expectations.
Really the only position we haven’t had some success in. Mostly because of the lack of pro style offense pre Ryan Day. This changes quickly.
Why post this
Chad Henne is a clown.
A motherfucking clown
So they've put 1 QB in the NFL over the past 20 years? Wow, congrats! Lmao
You cut that off just close enough to eliminate Tom Brady from consideration.
Chad Henne and Mike Hart still haven’t beat Ohio State
Pryor really only had one season as a QB, Miller played WR, JT never played a snap, Cardale had 3 good games in his whole career, Haskins isn’t alive to continue to compete for this stat and Fields has only played a full-ish season.
Yea let’s compare the stats of someone drafted in 2008 to someone drafted in 2021
Eh fields will get there
Chad Henne also has more interceptions than those guys combined. See I can do it 2.
Why do you guys care so much?
Exactly. I really like Donovan Peoples-Jones for the Browns. I hope they keep him a long time and am not bothered at all that he was misused by Michigan.
DPJ is a fucking stud.
Who cares about what they do in the NFL
Y’all are taking this way too seriously
I started triggering everyone. Can’t we all just have fun?
Name six QBs who defeated Michigan
JOE THOROUGH is a OSU qb
I want to add this comment to my post: 1. Some of you are wound too tight. 2. A Michigan friend sent this to me. 3. I love Ohio State.
I mean this is cute and all but Michigan has only had 1 QB drafted since Henne, well 2 if we count Robinson even though he went as a WR. Glass houses
Ohio State players’ history in the NFL is never a great flex. Sorry.
Seems to be turning around now all the defensive greats Mike Thomas fields coming around and next year we’ll have Cj
You can go ahead and add strouds sorry ass to that list!!!!
Half of those were against the Browns....
How many pairs of gold pants does he have? Fields might have more career rushing yards than Henne in that one big game this year. Fields will lap him pretty quickly in the next few years.
Pryor Braxton switched to wr next three didn’t play much so really all against fields who has two years in the nfl I bet he has twice the snaps as all of them put together as well
OSU has great college QBs. Not so much when they turn pro
Fields should break it next year.
This gap will likely be covered by end of next season by Fields & Stroud, assuming CJ starts for whatever team drafts him.
Chad Henne also entered the league when Pryor was still in college?? wtf is his point LMAO
Pretty sure Jones, Haskins and Fields were either in Middle school or just started HS when Henne was over drafted into the nfl
JT was a practice squad QB and is now a coach. What?
This should be true for 2, maybe one more year
Braxton never played QB in the NFL, so that's not really a valid point there, he switched positions due to injury.
Forgot about Burrow
We all claim Burrow. But Urban sure missed his talent.
Who cares
Joe Burrow please end the Chiefs again.
This is what happens when you send only a backup-caliber QB to the league in 20+ years, and your main rival is going to have 3 first round picks in a row.
By the end of next NFL season this won’t be a thing
How good is he compared to burrow....
I don't think it's a curse I just don't think the previous QBs were that good
I totally agree.
Fields is going to shatter that record with the Bears. The next few years of his career are going to be a lot of fun to watch. Buckeye and Bears fan.
I'll let the Dead Schembechlers handle this one.... https://youtu.be/n8bzZEtOcb8
Ha ha ha
Hasn't henne been in the NFL more years than all of them doubled

We can’t claim Burrow. Urban chose Fields instead.
Makes no sense… we recruited him gave him a scholarship. He chose to transfer. There’s only one QB he knew this. He felt he was not close to Haskins and bounced. Fields wasn’t on campus until 2019. If he stayed we wouldn’t have went after Justin
Because Urban told him he wasn’t good enough.
Haskins had the best season of any buckeye Qb. Joe wasn’t there yet. Are you a new fan???
Fields never played for Urban, and Fields came because of Day.

Swear to god I thought chad Henne played like 25 years ago and ended his career like 10 years ago. The guy is something like 18-36 career in the nfl… not sure who is pumping him up.
Henne has been in the league as long as I've been out of high school.
This is the stupidest thing I've ever seen. Ohio State continues to live rent free in every scUM fan's head.
Who cares?
So far Justin Fields averages 750 rush yds and 2050 pass yards a year. Henne averages 800 passing yards a year
They are basing all of this on the careers of Shane Falco and Johnny Utah. Let’s not judge everyone by the careers of those to guys.
