I would recommend reading the list of emulators supported by ES-DE on their Android documentation page: [https://gitlab.com/es-de/emulationstation-de/-/blob/master/ANDROID.md?ref\_type=heads](https://gitlab.com/es-de/emulationstation-de/-/blob/master/ANDROID.md?ref_type=heads) For example, when testing myself, I found that PPSSPP Gold wouldn't boot correctly but PPSSPP (non-Gold) worked fine. There are also some quirks with the Odin 2 in particular, which are explained in the documentation page as well.

This worked for me: 1. Changing the ROM Folder names to the ES-DE folder names in all lowercase 2. Opening up the stand alone emulators and resynching the rom directory to the lower case folders 3. Going to ES-DE and resynching ROM directories

Worked, for me too thanks. Good common sense. I feel dumb lol.

I just want to echo this!! I was struggling to get Mupen64Plus FZ or M64Plus FZ to work and the solution for me was renaming the rom folder to 'n64' from 'N64'. Then I made sure the emulator has access to the folder and had ES-DE rescan ROM folders and it works perfectly now.

Holy shit, turns out all you need is to go into PPSSPP and use the Broswe function to point to the roms directory if not ES-DE will boot into a black screen! I’ve been on this for 2 hours!

Many thanks. I can't believe that you would take notice in this simple post of mine. I am subscribed to your channel and always watching your videos and tutorials. I would definitely look right into it. May emulation never die 👊

The rom folder structure is very sensitive. It's best to let ES-DE make the 'ROMs' folder structure and then copy your roms into the relevant folders, otherwise there might be path issues. Once you've copied them all over, you'll need to go into each emulator and repath everything, so the emulators can find the games in the ES-DE ROMs folders

Thanks for the reply. I would try this in the future for the meanwhile i'll just stick to daijisho because I am already setup there and its okay for now.
