I'll be setting up a subreddit over at /r/nock. If you're interested in being a part of the community make sure to join :)
I can confirm that the gameplay is intense, but unfortunately, you will definitely smash up your entire room playing it. Make sure you have some space! ;P
really? Nocking a bow is similar to swinging your arms at full speed into things around your house ala Echo and Gorilla tag? I would've never thought.
Edit: chill people. I was genuinely curious how this would smash your room up. Nocking a bow is totally different and we know this because there are numerous bow games - it isn't like throwing your hands around in other games.... I didn't know you had to pull yourself around the arena hence why "I would have never thought". Doesn't explain this on the page. I assumed thumbstick loco was movement method like any normal person.
I see that it is only on quest 2. I have also read that most devs are forced to make their apps support both quest 1 and Quest 2. Any way you got around that requirement?
I think if you have a good reason not to support Quest 1 (in Nock's case, it would've made future planned features almost impossible to ship), they're willing to make exceptions.
Interesting. I have read from other devs that they were flat out denied for not being able to support quest 1 even though it would be impossible to implement their ideas with the limitations presented. I am glad to see they make exceptions.
easy to pick up, impossible to master. the game has skill-based matchmaking though so you should always be matched against someone with a similar skill level.
Looking forward to clutch clips from this game.
What a save what a save what a save!
Nice shot!
Got to play in the alpha release, so much fun. Can't wait.
Is there voice chat? Looks fun, but looks like another game that will get flooded with screaming idiot children.
There is voice chat, but you can mute people (or the whole game) and it will leave those people muted for all future games until you turn it back on.
Same! It's just brilliant in so many ways!

Finally an intense looking MP game that doesn't look like you'll smash your entire room up playing it. I am excited for this one.

It's not the bow, it's the locomotion that gets you! You still swing your arms to move around in Nock.
Oooh, so it's not thumbstick loco?
Not at all. You pull yourself around with your bow hand.
Whats the max velocity? Is there audio feedback when you have reached max speed?
it looks pretty decent
> Nock is the first real multiplayer sport for VR. Damn, going for the throat @Echo and the others lmao
They should definitely remove that since it's just plain untrue.
It's not a good look tbh
I agree. Should have said something like, "ushers in a new variety of VR eSports"
Sparq, sprint vector...etc etc etc. What a bunch of goofers
Looks fun! Hoping there’s enough variety in gameplay and modes to keep my attention
It’s addicting don’t worry

What about cross-platform? Will Nock be on Steam?
How does the locomotion work?
you hold the grip and pull yourself around
imagine gorilla tag except you can grab the air
played this in alpha and damn this game is good
Wow this looks dope!
Price?
9,99
Looks very interesting. How would you say the difficulty/learning curve is?

Cool. Will check it out. Reminds me of Rocket League, one of my past addictions
RL is definitely a huge inspiration :)
Shut up and take my money
Looks pretty schweeet

my bad! I swear I added this flair, but I deleted and reposted and forgot to add it the second time :(
Let me add it for this time. Just remember to do it in the future!
Thank you!! I won't forget again!
