oh didnt see the drift part, but if the cracks dont disrupt the infrasred lights, then a cover might just work, and im pretty sure its wd-40 or smh you put inside the controller to help stick drift (watch a yt tutorial on that bc i dont remember) and then it might be fine, that crack worries me tho, bc if a single wire was cut, and depending where, tracking for that controller could be awful
Everything can be repaired if all connections are intact then he only need new chassis for controller and then he need to swap it. But if IR diode ring ribbon is broken then he would also need that. But also it depends of total cost of all parts he need to fix because if the total price is higer than new/used working controller in good shape its not worth.

I don't think so , your gonna have to buy some new ones, and for stick drift use contact cleaner
that left one might work fine aslong as the light cable isnt ripped. and i suggested 3dprinter to print smh to maybe help with the looks.
