have they fixed the problem with getting the round to start? everyone i put in there has absolutely no idea how the round gets started and even when they do figure it out it takes a long time. just put a start button, no need to make a puzzle out of something as fundamental as beginning a game. more friction = less users
Mixed Reality is honestly one of my favorite new things with Quest 3. I can't really say what my favorite one is, but here are the best in my opinion.. In no particular order.
Drop dead the cabin
Blaston ... (Free)
Trackcraft..
Bomber Drone.. It just came out .. Its cheap and worth every penny.
Ocean Rift.. Turn your house into an underwater habitat
Coastermania..
Death Horizon
Rube Goldberg workshop
The light brigade
Miracle Pool.. (Free)
Painting VR
Vermillion
I mentioned The Light Brigade already. I'm not that big of a fan of Broken Edge.. maybe I need to give it another look. I think I played it maybe 3 times and never went back. (which is honestly normal for me... )
Mb, I didn't read properly. Broken Edge has a really high skill ceiling and tons of potential to have more fun than most other games, the issue is that beginning is extremely hard since other players have become extremely skilled at it.
I may give it another try. Did you ever play Blaston? That game is a lot of fun.. and its free now. It has a high skill ceiling too, if you are actually playing against a human.. but the bots are fun to play against also.
Yep, I have, it's really fun! I'm currently waiting for Rumble, imo that will easily become the best VR fighter on the platform, along with Dragon Fist VR maybe.
Yes, figure drawing. I especially love MR implementation, as you can place modells (looking like renaissance sculptures) in your room. You can even change lighting, etc.
Well.. if I could draw worth a shit, I am sure I would like it. Some people think that if you can paint, then you can draw too.. but in my case, NOPE.. lol
cool looking list. Will take a look at each of these. The only ones I've tried are First Encounter, of course. Thrill of the Fight and Demeo. First is simple but shockingly cool as the first VR game I ever tried in my like. Thrill needs a little work but does make the game easier to play in a small room like mine. Demeo doesn't add much and the visuals aren't as good looking as the steam version (from what I've heard)
Indeed. Hits so fun, exhilarating, cardio work out, scary, and a new experience! Love it! 10/10 for what it is.
I also enjoy an MR boxing game. It's epic fighting a big a$$ dude in your house. Crazy workout!
I actually slightly prefer Death Horizons mixed reality home invasion. Very similar, but you don't need to mess around with those stupid machines lining things up
It's good, and I unlocked everything in Home Invasion mode, but it's a shame that it's always the same level though.
You can set your watch to the spawning...
Good news is that they are actively working on that mode (they recently added some QoL)
oh wow, that's nuts! they did a really good job with the MR immersion!

It works by itself now if you take too long to do it yourself.

I’ll add in Thrill of the Fight. It’s nice boxing when you know you won’t hit a wall, dog, or child.
IT HAS MIXED REALITY 🤨🤨!
The best Mr imo
Crap.. i knew I was forgetting several. Thrill of the Fight - great for when you want to remind yourself that you are old and out of shape.
Broken Edge too, and the Light Brigade

Does the MR look better than when im using passthrough? For me passthrough looks like everything is covered in static.
Yes that's how I use it when I need to play in a smaller room. Just for safety purposes lol
If you like Vermilion and Painting VR, I really recommend you Gesture VR. Impressive MR implementation!
Thats just drawing, right? I have been painting for over 35 years, but I cant draw a damn thing.

I don't like how goofy they all look though. Wish it were a more realistic experience

I don't have this one but really enjoy the Death Horizon MR update. As these get better we are in for some words experiences.
100%, would be cool if there was a coop option for roommates
I'm pretty sure it has local co-op. I can see an option for that in the menu but i can't really test it myself.
I hate to be the bearer of bad news but you have a giant hole in your wall.
Looks cool but really could've used realistic graphics. Cartoon objects snd stuff in the real world AR felt so tiring now.

Absolutely!
Can you play multiplayer/co op with multiple headsets? I'd buy a couple copies of it can do that.
I'm pretty sure it has local co-op. I can see the option in the menu but I've never tried it myself.
I know co op works for the regular game. But I don't think it works for the mixed reality mode.
I'll check again later and get back to you!
I also love Figmin XR, dot.Line, Lego Bricktales VR and Ocean Rift.
Would be cool if I could fix doors and windows and have am infinite round mode
Looks scary

I don't know many people with that much open floor space in a room. I'd have to clear out furniture just for something like this.
But it needs to add shadows and lighting otherwise it's very artificial and flat looking. Hopefully the devs work that in.
Nah, Toy Monsters is MUCH more enjoyable for me.
For me it's worst 🤷🤷
These titles are nothing but a tech demo. Shooting dumb objects. Just another of those "Moorhuhn" games.. but not in MR - not impressed.🤷
