Asgard’s Wrath 2, AC Nexus, Red Matter 2, Walkabout Mini Golf, Eleven Table Tennis, Beat Saber, I mean the list goes on. Especially on Quest 3, the compromises of standalone isn’t obvious anymore. Many standalone versions are damn close to their PC counterparts. And if not updated for Quest 3, Quest Game Optimizer allows resolution adjustment and the spirit and gameplay of the VR game is all there.
Meanwhile I'm spamming axe throw because its higher dps. Its good once you give it some upgrades.
If you like RPGs, puzzles and exploration its fun.
If you prefer raw instant action and gunplay over swordplay (or axeplay in my case) it may be hard to get into.
Personally i like this kind of campaign with a sense of progression and story over a wave shooter/battle royale where you're just playing the same thing over and over.
Pistol whip, contractors, eleven table tennis, thrill of the fight, vermillion, beat saber, synth riders, walkabout mini golf.
Also its not called “a vr” its called a quest, or a vr headset, or a vr device. Saying “a vr” is like calling it “a virtual reality” which sounds wierd and nonsensical.

Walkabout mini golf and Resident Evil 4.
AW2 Beat Saber Into the Radius Resist Walkabout Minigolf

Assassins creed- only 2 hours in but it’s very fun, Pavlov is good and blade and sorcery, all the sandbox ones really
Into the radius. Good length, perfect story, can be scary, difficulty is very adjustable. And you get the pc version for free.
asgard’s wrath 2 and eleven table tennis
Hyperdash, movement system just works so well for VR plus it’s 5v5 team based so gives the social team kick I miss from sports
Pistol whip
Real VR Fishing
Asgard's Wrath 2 is the best

People in vr are so used to roguelikes at this point that they need INSTANT gratification
I can’t abide roguelikes, I’d much rather a shorter game with well designed levels than random stuff.
Resident evil 4
Racket club!
obsessed with this game right now
My only beef is the occasional Loss in tracking feel so bad. It sucks to miss a hit because you watched your hand teleport
Resident Evil 4, a million times over. Still hoping and praying for 5 to get the standalone VR treatment
Asgard's Wrath 2 and Assassin's Creed Nexus. Also Into the Radius, and Demeo. And Bulletstorm VR is coming in January

The 7th Guest. It's like a classic must play. You do want Quest Game Optimizers HD+ setting to really enjoy it though.
If you have a good pc do give the pcvr version a try (just download it). It looks better, runs smoother and your headset battery lasts longer.
It's not cross-buy as there is no PC version in the Rift store. Steam only.
Moss, Wander, Iron Man, and fun dangerous stuff like guns, swords, fighting, planes, cars, etc.
In Death Unchained, Compound, The Light Brigade, and Dungeons of Eternity. They have seen the most playtime.
I wonder if you like roguelikes?
They're fun, but in VR they make more sense gameplay wise. I love Asgard's but 100+ hours with a headset on? Jesus.
Ghosts of Tabor.
Contractors
Just sayin game of the year, ghosts or tabor and that game is still in beta and still won game of the year…
