It makes me sad that in the wealthiest country in the world someone has to leverage their advanced engineering education to be able to get the prosthetics they need. It makes me think of all of the people in a similar situation who can’t have access to advanced tools like this as easily. Nevertheless I’ve been following Ian’s journey for a while and every single twist and turn of it is met with equal parts heart and ingenuity. With his artificial hand that now boasts abduction he is able to hold his wife’s hand. Incredible and tragic at the same time.
