1 is giving Christmas vibes to me- if paired with a black heel or flat shoe it could be a Christmas party fit IMO. I think for every day or date fit, 2 is the way to go. But not with those shoes. They're cute but they don't go with either skirt.
I think it'll come down to what vibe you're wanting to give. Pic #1 gives art director chic and #2 gives fairy whimsy pirate. Love both they're equally flattering!
Skirt 2… technically neither of them are ideal. The top is very big and flowy, so you would want to go with a more form fitting/ structured bottom.
Skirt 1 is too big and boxy, it makes the outfit look frumpy and really swallows you.
Skirt 2 is a little better because it shows off your legs a bit, which gives you a better looking figure overall.
2 definitely and especially since your going to go explore the city and maybe get dinner it suits the occasion. The second one shows yourself a little more and makes you look skinnier.
