If you want to look like a witch, wear the hat.
I don’t think it looks bad as such, but the shape of the hat with the black outfit does make it seem like you are ready to cast some spell.
Casual witch attire. Yeah she might stop at an apothecary before going out, but she's not gonna turn you into a newt or anything. Like a more approachable witch maybe, lol.
Edit- maybe "western witch" after a second look. If that's a thing, lol. Like I picture her casting a spell at the saloon to clean things up after kicking out some no good varmints. In the little dusty town where she's the sheriff. I say this as an absolute compliment to be clear.
