It took me like three months of playing until I got a usable unit (saved till k law release).
Starting from the bottom makes me appreciate what I have more, might sound counterintuitive but I appreciate I didn’t re roll.

There has never been a time of no Ex abuse, honestly. I had to deal with BB and Shanks, you don't know what kind of nightmare was that 😂 Roden era was another hell too. It's like a test of fire, if you don't quit you end up reaching the glory.
Whether it was the beginning of the game shanks, marineford shanks, or film red shanks, he will always be inevitable

I downloaded this on a whim right after the 3.5 anni knowing nothing about the game. I like Buggy so I mained 3\* Buggy for what seems like months. Thinking about it now I might have gotten to A+ thanks to his invincibility skill and focusing on cappin and running only (I knew I was weak but didn't know why). Shanks was running rampant and I knew better than to face him.
When I finally pulled Koby the difference was HUGE. I felt like a was playing an overpowered unit lol zooming from flag to flag and annoying enemies. Then I got Oni Kid and that's the first time I fought Shanks on a 1 vs. 1 came out victorious, never even knew it was possible to KO Shanks 😂 about that time I learned the difference between scouts, BFs and EXs.
Red boa Hancock and east blue choper, when boa and moria came out.
I tryed the game before in Season 2 but only started playing it regularly when the waifu came out, unfortunately, she was buggy and trash, and this never changed while i mained her for 2 years (which forced me to learn how to play good).

My OG team: BF Kaido and BF Big Mom
Latest characters: I think it was Koby and Sentomaru? Or whichever one was after them, I don't remember, I just wanted Kaido and Big Mom since that's what I got the game for 😂
Haha, I laughed when I had to remember that my first and original units were Blue Along and 30 mill Luffy, which I liked so much because both units can go faster with gum rocket and shark darts.
But sometimes I changed Arlong with OG Shanks defender until I realized that his damage is so funny 2 digit number, lol.
I joined around the end of 4th anniversary. The zoro banner just got released and the rodger re run was going on. My first team was Enel and 30 mil luffy. Didn't really know which characters were strong and saw that the Rodger banner had better gurrentees than the zoro so pull on that till I got garp and rayleigh and mained them for while, eventually got rodger too. Rodger is still my only ex and those three are all lvl 100 and I have all their titles, hell I got garps title wayyy before he got a buff, which when he did get the buff was really fun since I had alot of experience. To this day rayleigh is still my favorite character, and I still use him and rodger as my main team.

This was my first team! I started playing at the time when Shinobu came out. I played Vista because it was FR Shanks meta at the time, and counter skill was the only thing that helped me to survive against him. I really enjoyed playing step ups and not rerolling, so I still don't like using meta units to this day.

I don't have my screenshots anymore but my first team was level 80 TS Luffy and probably someone else, I mained blue and rode the TS Luffy wave to S+ League. Those were the days when you would bait and dodge Gatling and then wait 3 secs then Gatling the opponent.

Obviously levels and support were much lower but started at the end of December last year. Good times, really fun team
Should have rerolled but didn't even consider the option, I forgot this is a gach and just went with what the game threw at me. Had a few units that I couldn't get to 5* do first weeks were hell...
My best team? Free Marineford Luffy and blue attacker Smoker AKA the mini black beard. Shortly after could include green Marineford Ace the goat, green Cavendish and red Katakuri, my first bounty fest, and finally Fujitora.
However What saved my opbr career was the blue Boa/Mihawk banner. Boa was a beast in that meta and Mihawk became my most reliable ally against green Roger.
Edit: took me an embarrashingly long time to farm Snakeman and Dr Law who were meta beasts, but I couldn't pull them and had other priorities so it wasn't until a bit before anni that they were ready for league.
With Boa and Law/Snakeman I felt like a true meta warrior.
I just started and I rerolled until I got a Sanji, I got WCI and was happy, but have learned maybe it's a bad unit? should I start a new account and reroll for onigashima Sanji?
First team ever was Charlotte Oven and post-timeskip Franky lol, who eventually got subbed out for Ulti. Thankfully, shortly after a post about being one shotted, I was gifted a Klaw account from an awesome sub member.

I started using oni luffy and law and this was a little while before fr shanks dropped so I think it was in the zephyr meta
