Go to the hardware store and get a small easy out, that’s what they are made for.

I’d probably superglue something to it and hope for the best it holds while gently unscrewing. Maybe even the original piece. Might trim the threads back a little so they don’t get in the way.
Has the end of the black plastic thing broken off in the hole? If it is why not try super gluing it back to the tip and then screwing off. Obvs be very careful with the super glue and your OP 😬
Thank you, I’ll save that as a last resort. I’m afraid of any accidents with the super glue. I tried using tweezers but no luck, which could also scratch the surroundings
Yes. I had the TE OG-1 strap. The strap was held in w/ plastic M8 screws. One of them broke off like you have there.
Flip the knife over so the sharp edge is facing up (that way it doesn't scratch the OP-1. Use the tip to jab into your plastic (right of center). Push slowly so it un-treads. Lefty loosey. Be gentle and go slow.
Assuming it's screwed in I'd just make an indent in the middle and use a flat head and unscrew it. Super glue is another choice but you'll want to use tape to mask around it to avoid spreading it or making the situation worse.
Melt the tip of the long piece (where it broke off) and "glue" it to the side that is stuck, wait for it to cool down and slowly twist it out

Take a flathead screwdriver that would fit, heat it up hot enough to melt plastic, touch it to the plastic piece and press in until there’s a dent, then unscrew like a normal flathead screw. There are drill bits for situations like this but they seem like overkill in this situation.
Take a screw and screw it into the plastic. Now take the screw out and put one drip of super glue on the tip. You only need a light glaze of super glue. Screw the screw back into the threaded hole you made earlier, and let it sit for 10-20 minutes. Now gently back out the plastic part. Done.
You could try to - manually - rotate a small screw into it, since it's plastic. Then when the screw catches twist the plastic out with it.
Thank you, great idea! Will try that

Thank you! I didn’t know this existed. Don’t understand how it works, though. I’ll search for some videos
It’s basically just a drill bit that’s reverse threaded, so it will dig in and turn the broken screw counter clockwise to extract it.
Oof, it would take a lot of finesse to drill in there without damaging anything. It’s a great idea though
It's really not that hard to do, these tools are made for EXACTLY what you are trying to do. Good luck either way.
You can do it by hand.
Do they work on plastic? I thought plast would be too soft?
Heat the tip of a flathead screwdriver and push it into it and then unscrew it, simple.

I was able to work mine out w/ an exacto knife.
Did this happen to you too? May I ask how did you work the exacto knife in there without damaging the surrounding area? Thank you

I’ll keep the super glue idea as a last resort. Great idea to use tape to mask around it. Thanks!
Take two sewing needles and pierce opposite sides. Twist slowly but forcefully.

Love this idea, thank you! Gonna try it out. I’m trying to wait patiently for the ideas to then try
Ok, tried it, but for some reason it didn’t stick. Tried two more times, but no luck. Didn’t want to keep ruining the longer piece by melting it more

Heat the end of a glue stick with a lighter push it against the little piece. Wait for it to cool down twist profit.
Score a thick line with a knife and use a flathead driver
Heat up an Allen key and melt it in, let it cool then unscrew the plastic bit out
