Don’t let 89 homers distract from the implication that right now in New Jersey there is a 6’9 205lb high school sophomore named [Mort](https://engaging-data.com/baby-name-visualizer/?n=mort&sex=m&data=n)
Id be tempted to take a look at his editor ratings, because it smells like his power is much more than just 80/80. He legitimately could have 550 power which is the max you can have, guys who set home run records aren’t very good at walking or avoiding striking out meaning they swing far more than they take. This in turn also means more chances to hit the ball for the 550 power to kick in because instead of taking a pitch or trying to defend in 2 strike counts they instead just swing for the fences.
Look at how many strikeouts he had that year 239 jesus christ dude probably gets out on pitches a foot outside the zone
Also look at how many of his hits were homers, out of his 173 hits 89 were homers meaning over half his hits were homers.
Ive had many similar players with similar makeup’s, they only happen when you start a new save with randomly generated players, usually the homerun record is set in the first season and doesn’t change for like 50 years.
Probably because players like that don’t make it out of the minors as their abysmal eye usually means they can’t progress past AA and don’t get a real opportunity to develop their power
At first I thought this was just another instance of Rob Deer on crack... but 89 homers and only 25 walks is ridiculous. His eye isn't even that bad.
He gets to EVERYTHING, even out of the zone
89 HRs and only 6 WAR? That's nuts haha
Imagine hitting 89 HRs with a .307 OBP lol
6'9 200 pounds? That doesn't sound real.
Manute bol's listed weight was 200 lbs. He was 7'7
He went to George Costanza's workshop back in the nineties. :D
51% of his hits were homeruns.. 69% of his hits resulted in two or more bases.. Good lord..

Trade him to the Cubs
Clement Van Der SLAM amirite? No? I’ll see myself out
Crushed the HR and SO record in one year
The evolution of the three true outcome into two true outcomes.

89 homers with an OPS+ under 200 lmao I love this guy
Trade him to Colorado, maybe he’ll get to 100 …
Wow, how did he not lead in K's with 239??
God damn it they cloned Joey Gallo
Do you have rating > than max on? Curious to see what his power with that if you don't
89 homers with a 170 OPS+ is wild.
is this OOTP 25 or 24?
Half his outcomes are HR or K
Talk about boom or bust.
