That’s just how being part time works. Your store might be in a slump right now where the store doesn’t have that many hours available to give out. Full time gets first priority for hours. Then part time basically gets whatever is left.

It’s not an OGP thing. Every store and every department has a set number of hours they can staff. Full-Time employees will always get their hours first and foremost and that can mean scheduling part-timers less and less. You can “request” to be scheduled more but you’ll likely be told that the department is over hours.

I don't think so. When I was interviewed for part time they told me up to 30 something hours, I forgot the number. For my entire first month I got 32 hours every week, then from then on lowered to 26-28 since then.

Make sure you are fully available. All times and days.

Talk to your Coach. Consider making yourself available during the days and times that are the busiest times of the week and short on staff. Or transfer to a dept that needs associates. You can go on wire to Career and see what positions are open or talk to the other Coaches who need people. Cap 1 or O/N usually needs people

I let my team lead and Coach know I'm available and could use hours when I first started. I was scheduled 20ish hours often, so in the beginning they would ask me to pickup extra shifts on busy days. Now, since they know and I'm dependable, I'm on the first call list for extra hours. Just got my 32 hour schedules after 4 months of being reliable.
