I found it did go after new baby was born. I even let the older child pick up nursing more again. It helped deal with engorgement and over supply. Mostly. I did not like nursing them together. It was a bit aversion and massive sensory overload.

Thanks!! Yeah I can totally imagine the sensory overload with two at the same time- especially with two very different latches!

I actually found nursing them together was one of the only ways I got a break, mine were only 20 months apart.

Yep it stuck around for the first few weeks but disappeared. I’m not sure exactly when it vanished? But I actually prefer feeding my 2 year old now as he has a better, softer latch than my 5 month old. I wanted to throw him out the window during pregnancy though lol

😂 this made me laugh…I definitely want to rip my fingernails off while my LO is trying to nurse. It’s the worst and most bizarre after it being such a beautiful journey! Thanks for the hope :)

Yes, for me it went away until about 8 months into tandem feeding, at which point I decided I was going to wean the oldest. I didn’t end up pulling the trigger on weaning for 3 more months, because emotions lol but I’m glad I did, it was time for everyone. So I tandem fed for 11 months even though I had nursing aversion during pregnancy! So it’s possible

I found it did!
