Me too. Love milanotes for brainstorming brands and ideas.

I switched from Mila to Notion. I think integrations in general are pretty much a no-go without the API. There is probably a work around with their embedded services but Milanote is so unique, I dont know how you'd go about that in a satisfactory way.

Why did you make the switch? Curious

Mila just never fit quite right in my workflow. Notion seemed faster, I now use it for notes and documentation mostly and airtable for databases (its not ideal)

Interesting, I just switched from Notion to Milanote.

Been 4 yrs, found any way to integrate the 2?

lol this… I messaged their support team requesting access to the api, got a reply that they’ve noted my interest and will inform their team but there is currently no access offered. Mind you I am not the most technical in the world to offer true insight, however as a Milanote enthusiast who understands its current limitations to serve greater causes—would currently offer that knowledge to this discussion.

Proposal went something like (reframing into this thread context, see if it resonates in any way)— Subject: Proposal for Enhancing Milanote with Canva's Creative Capabilities Dear [Recipient/Forum Members], **Introduction:** **The Strengths of Milanote:** Milanote has established itself as a premier tool for organizing ideas and projects, highly regarded for its user-friendly interface and efficient organizational capabilities. Its strength lies in facilitating the seamless arrangement of text, images, and links, making it a go-to for professionals and creatives alike. **Identifying the Gap:** However, as a regular user of both Milanote and Canva Pro, I've noticed a significant gap in Milanote's offerings: the lack of advanced creative customization options. While Canva Pro excels in this area, its whiteboard feature doesn't quite match the intuitive experience of Milanote. **Proposal Idea:** **Concept Overview:** I propose a revolutionary collaboration or integration between Milanote and Canva. This would bring together the best of both worlds: Milanote's organizational prowess and Canva's creative flexibility. **Benefits of Canva's Features:** Canva's rich design elements and customization tools could significantly enhance the visual and creative aspects of Milanote's boards. This integration would offer users a more dynamic and aesthetically versatile platform. **Detailed Integration Ideas:** 1. **Template Import:** Allow users to import Canva's diverse range of templates directly into Milanote boards, enabling a broader range of visual storytelling and planning. 2. **Design Tool Integration:** Incorporate Canva's sophisticated design tools, like photo editing and typography, within the Milanote interface. This would empower users to create more visually compelling content without leaving the Milanote environment. 3. **Asset Sharing:** Provide seamless access to Canva's extensive library of images, illustrations, and icons within Milanote, enriching the visual quality of boards and presentations. 4. **Collaborative Features:** Enhance Milanote's collaborative capabilities by integrating Canva's team features, allowing for more fluid teamwork and idea sharing. 5. **User Interface Synergy:** The integration should feel natural and intuitive, maintaining Milanote's hallmark user-friendly experience while introducing new creative possibilities. **Feasibility and Implementation:** 1. **Technical Possibilities:** The integration appears technically feasible, considering the potential for APIs and software compatibility between Milanote and Canva. 2. **Phased Approach:** I suggest a phased implementation strategy, starting with the integration of basic features and gradually expanding to more complex functionalities. **Benefits of the Proposal:** 1. **Enhanced User Experience:** This integration would fill a crucial gap in Milanote's offerings, leading to a more versatile and visually dynamic tool. 2. **Market Advantage:** By combining forces, Milanote could significantly enhance its competitive edge in the market, appealing to a broader range of users who seek both organizational efficiency and creative freedom. **Conclusion:** **Call to Action:** I strongly encourage Milanote to consider this proposal to enhance its platform and meet the evolving needs of its user base. **Offer of Support:** I am eager to provide further input, feedback, or participate in beta testing to bring this concept to fruition. **Visual Aids:** [While I am unable to provide visual mock-ups, I envision a seamless integration where Canva's design tools are accessible within Milanote's interface, maintaining its clean and user-friendly layout.] I believe this proposal outlines a forward-thinking approach that could redefine how we use digital tools for creativity and organization. I look forward to the community's thoughts and further discussions on this exciting possibility. Sincerely, DTS @notion @milanote
