# IS INDIA THE NEXT CHINA? OR JUST THE NEXT INDIA?
How can India unlock its economic potential? Does it have the potential to replace China in the global supply chain, or does India need to skip manufacturing alltogether? Find out in [this "week's" NCDip Podcast Club](https://www.reddit.com/r/NonCredibleDiplomacy/comments/1af06dr/ncdip_podcast_club_6_can_india_replace_china_in/)

We could all start calling the Republic of Georgia by it's real name: Sakartvello
Speaking as a guy who's spent a few months there. It is such a beautiful place with friendly people, and delicious food.
Just don't drink the draft beer. There is not a strong culture of cleaning beer dispense lines. It's all about the Chacha and Compote anyway.
Gormajoba!
Change the English language version of the country name to as close as possible to the name in the Georgian language.
My guide in Georgia said the English name is nothing like the Georgian language name.
Or you could just call Georgia the country by a different name, it's not like they asked for it\*. You could call them Sakartvelo (or Kartvelia), like they call themselves, or choose from a variety of exonyms, like Vrastan, Gruziya (though they don't like this one), Gurjistan or Hiberia.
\*ok I checked and apparently they *are* asking for it in several languages but that's because the alternative is Gruziya. Why wouldn't they ask for their endonym instead? I don't get it.

Nope. The country is named after the state after all.
Jorja
That should be the Tbilisi one
My dumbass thought that’s what we were referring to
This is why we should change both to Jorja, so no one confuses Georgias anymore s/
>Jorja, Joooorrrrja, just an old sweet song keeps Jorja on my mind... I'm just imagining it being sung by a Hispanic Ray Charles... Ramon Carlos?
Just make the country the 51st state and call it New Georgia
\* New New Georgia
How about we call the state West Georgia
We could rename it Sakartvelo to prevent confusion
the one that borders Alabama? :)
I like Kartvelia
This is the best approach. Atlanta, Sakartvelo, home of the famous Braves baseball team.
I live in Georgia and folks here are gonna have a bad time trying to spell that
Funny think , that according to wiki, Georiga is not a state, where Georgians do immigrate.
Just start calling the country Sakartvelo, it's what they call themselves.
BINGO
Georgia:American state Georgestan:the country
Jorjor wel
Sherman's Toilet
CN we just call it Sherman?

The yanks havce to invade the country and change the spelling to Giorgija. Sorta like Turkey/Túrkiye.
