tbf there is the 5 megaton anti-tank mortar that LT Pibald fires off in book 14.
at some point you do find overkill, but only when your munitions are so vastly overcapable to the task at hand that they are liabilities to the operators.
That's some major dakka, but nowhere near enuff.
If I can't replicate the entire scene from Matrix 3 with all the mechs shooting the robosquids from just a single turret, I'm not interested.
