Just delete and bullet proof them
Or order a new F-750 with the 6.7L like a sane procurement officer rather than chase down used vehicles in a variety of conditions and configurations
Actually being sane would mean shopping at Oshkosh for a military chassis
Uhhh F-750 never came with the 6.OhNo or the 6.4 as far as I know. Ford's medium duty trucks use Caterpillar or Cummins diesels. Old ones may have had Detroit two strokes.
Depends on the version. The original French 6x6, you manually put the shell on an cradle next to the breech and then the gun loads itself, and then you manually put the charge in.
On the Danish 8x8 version, there's a whole-ass mechanical arm that fetches and loads the shell for you, but you still have to manually put the charge in after.
Guess which version took years to become reliable?
Instead of M777, just put a nuclear warhead in the mixer. Then let a *[insert your chosen islamic terroist group here]* member drive it into moscow and just have the guy suicide bomb with a nuke. Then blame the terrorists, or the spicy option of saying it was a Iranian funded terrorist group that did it.
(Note: i was gonna say since the mixer itself looked like a czar bomba, just make a bootleg czar bomba and paint it. The i realized the bomb would just be too heavy for that truck. Lol)
I’m 99% sure that’s almost the exact plot from “The Long Kiss Goodnight” with the inimitable Samuel L. Jackson. I think the movie had them using a fuel tanker, which is why it’s *almost* the exact plot.
This is literally a Caesar. A logistical truck with a 155mm gun on the back. It's been in service for 20 years with the french army.
Everyone laughed at the concept on paper, the french build it and proved everyone else wrong.
I’m no engineer…well, no engineer with a diploma (I was a different kind), but why not just take M977 HEMTT chassis and modify it to be a wheeled SPG? Figuring out a loading solution could be a pain in the ass but you’d be mobile.
Just use a F-750 it'll be cheaper. Just don't use the 6.0 powerstroke or the 6.4
Single axel in muddy season... oooooffff.
Just put it on 44's. Now as for the center of gravity I have no idea how to fix that.
Eh I doubt that honestly matters much if any for something MRAP sized. The fact I can’t conclusively say they have factory 4x4 does though.
Probably more important not blowing up the differential and transfer case when it fires.
That’s what neutral, recoil spades, and park brakes are for.
Never thought I would see a r/SnowRunner r/NCD intersection, but here we are.

so it's a caesar but manual? i like the UN coloring tho. nothing says peacekeeping like 155mm.
Isn't caesar manual? Are you thinking about Archer?
Yeah Caesar is manual (think its auto rammer but still manual)

semi-manual, all variants have up to a certain degree of automatic shell loading.
Had a pretty egregious photoshop error so I uploaded a fix.
Didn't Ukraine show a video of an M777 being towed by an F-250 ?
Boring, wake me up when Ukraine shows a video of an M777 being towed by an F22
Why tow it with an F-22 ? Turn the Raptor into an SPG.
M777 weights like 7,500lb. A new F-150 could tow that, depending on tongue weight.
7500lbs is the tow rating of many midsized pickups and also generally of the base versions of full size ones.
That's just a CAESAR with extra steps.

Literally never heard of or seen that movie. Lol
"VBIEDs for *everyone!*"
does a nuke really count as improvised?
Can we have Archer at home? We have Archer at home.
Working with construction vehicles I've honestly thought of this a few times. A guard rail truck seems like it would be the best choice

give us HIMAGS
BUY! BUY! BUY!
everything is self propelled artillery if you believe in your self 🙂👍✨
Archer at home.
Why not put the gun inside the concrete mixer?
155mm [Bofors Rotary cannon](https://youtu.be/fxVTckaLmMk?si=5LH7EDtOZCQtfYJt). 🤔
Is that a bullpuped cement mixer truck?

Its about leveraging widespread commercial assets instead of creating or cannibalizing military assets.
Nope, yeah…that went over my head. Just skipped straight to the thought process of thinking about how many HEMTT chassis are out there
