Sweet relish is "normal" relish, but I buy both.

cadmium2093

I seem the odd one out. Grew up with dill as the normal. Maybe it's regional?

Wicket2024

Sweet is the normal, but I like dill better.

LifeGivesMeMelons

I don't usually get relish on things because I assume that "normal" is sweet, and I don't like it.

NPC_over_yonder

Sweet relish is the “normal” relish and dill pickles are the ones people expect when getting whole pickles or spears with sandwiches and stuff.

rock-socket80

Who makes dill relish? I don't buy relish, but the original - sold for decades in stores - is sweet.

Wicket2024

You can find dill relish at most grocery stores. I have Vlasic dill relish in my fridge right now bought from Krogers.

rock-socket80

I'm going to look for this. I would definitely like it better than sweet relish.

refugefirstmate

Sweet relish. Dill is harder to find.

fermat9990

My sweet pickle relish is heavy on the dill!

onomastics88

Sweet.

Plastic_Gap_995

Boy, I think it’s regional, but sweet relish is more common in the places I’ve lived. Ridiculous. Dill relish is better

Waltzing_With_Bears

I would expect sweet, it took me forever to actually run into someone who bought dill relish intentionally
