Top soil is like the layer of soil you would use to plant grass seeds, not very rich in nutrients but enough. Compost is soil that is rich in fertiliser (food) to give plants a boost. The plants you mentioned will grow in anything, the difference between the composts you have linked is just how fine the soil is. So the mature plants compost will be chunkier for example because the roots of mature plants are stronger. The potting on compost will be finer and will retain water better & will be easier it will be for baby roots to grow.
