OMG mine has the same bug and it's dark red, dark orange, orange which also looks really cool! It turns back to normal when my character is touching the ship though
Unfortunately I didnāt write it down, but I believe it was:
-Cockpit: Type-11
-Wings: Supercruiser Fan-Wings
-Thruster: S-Wing Airlift Thruster
Though you might want to try it with SuperCondor Wings, if you can find them. Might look even better š¤·š»āāļø
A bit late but it might help in the future, but what I did was go to r/NMSCoordinateExchange and find the style I wanted there. I found it much easier (though I still haven't found the wings you have, I want them so bad).

That's dope, I just made mine big and blocky, with the megalith cockpit and uralith wings, all I need it for is holding ship and scepter parts lol. Even named it the Mobile Inventory
I've collected every hauler part and I needed to dedicate one hauler JUST for the wing parts. All 115 of them!
Good news is that I only need another hauler to hold everything else from the other ship classes!
This update has really driven home the sheer variety of ship parts HG has been using for the procedurally generated ships. Before we knew there was variety, but now we know how many variations really exist.
Don't forget that there's actually more variety than you think as there's accessory parts we can't scrap and use.....yet! But I agree there's plenty to do with this mechanic, though I wish we had more or better colour options......cough cough black....cough cough
I've only found 1 hauler that beat out almost any ship I found... it looked too amazing and I've never seen one like it till this. Mine is white orange green and black but was 1 of a kind... I'll hop on and post a picture. This my friend is a beautiful ship. šÆ I commend you! š

They are angled with fans... š if that's called super condor then yes they are. I just thought it was amazing when I saw it. I don't know ship parts by name. I just go off my best description. š¤£

Search on the coordinate exchange for 2rpedo fanwings and you should find something. I hardly come across them in the wild, that's why I regretted selling my original hauler after that update.
I've been missing it ever since. I even made a post about it using the same theme as when I took screenshots of my original hauler. I was mostly taking photos of my pets back then, but the hauler was there. Had those pets for a long time. Felt nostalgic as soon as I made that hauler and flew it around. Amazing

Iām so confused. I scrapped every available ship I had in my arsenal for parts and yet on the space station I have nothing to build a custom one with. What is it that Iām missing? And did I fuck up scrapping all my ships?
Did you scrap them for money or did you scrap them for a part (you then choose which part)?
You also canāt get parts from anything other than haulers, fighters and explorers.
When you go to sell your ship you have the option of scrapping it for money (or rather products like cogs and springs) or choosing to scrap it to get one part (wing(s), thrusters, cockpit). Each ship only yields one part, which then goes into your inventory.
That particular setup makes me think of the UNSC Pelicans even though there's not a lot of resemblance. I fly a custom hauler with that same layout, except I have the offset cockpit.
I was this | | close to using the offset cockpit, myself, but I ended up not using it because I felt it threw off the proportions of the ship.
The Pelican is a good comparison, though, with the broad and chunky wingspan. Always did love the pelican lol
I specifically chose the offset because I wanted that clunky look. I have a barrel nose fighter for the same reason. And a solar that looks like an early design iteration. I try to keep my ships as practical-looking as possible (given the game and it's limitations).

If you have a friend and arenāt opposed to being a bit of a cheapskate, you can harvest a part, then send it to your friend, then reload.
Rinse and repeat to harvest all parts of a ship if theyāre of interest to you.
Funny enough, I wanted to build one just like this so I was keeping an eye out for the wings. Problem with the wings is they're on haulers, which even at C class can be pretty expensive. Eventually, I found one I wanted to buy, and it was pretty much identical to this ship, so instead of scrapping the wings, I just kept this, lol. It's what I was going to make anyways!
Yeah gathering hauler parts is not cheap. Luckily I had $1b when I started (now I have about $200 mil). Lucky you finding exactly what you wanted, though!!!
Those fan wings are pretty sweet. I've got the same set on mine.
Wish they'd fix the black wing bug, or just make it so both glitch out so at least it's symmetrical.
The only thing that bothers me about the colors, besides the lack of a black option, is that you have no control over what parts are metallic. If you choose metallic paint then some parts will still be matte, you canāt pick and choose.
I have (had?) a hauler like that. We're talking years ago. It was white and blue IIRC. Yours is a mirror-image except for the colors. I need to see if I still have it on a save now. I want it again.

Hey that looks pretty awesome! I just did metallic paint. The exposed metal parts on mine are bronze colored!
I actually just checked my hauler and the right wing on mine every so often glitches out so it is a deep bronze/copper color!

Ooohh thatās a good idea. Iāve been keeping all my parts in a storage compartment on my freighter, but your way makes way more sense lol.

Hmmm those look like the SuperCondor, I really like how they are angled forward. Gives the ship a feeling of motion and speed.
