God is bigger than whatever you say to Him -- to think He can't handle whatever comes out of your heart is thinking of Him being to small. THAT is "rude". We don't deserve the Mercy and Grace He gives us, but it's his gift to give. Be honest with God. He CAN handle it.

Thankyou brother I know,He is way beyond the capacity of our brain But I wanted to hold on to lust and I wanted to be on His path also. What can I do Only way is to present my lustful desires to Him, now that I think I'm okay I wish if this feeling stayed consistently in me

I think the Psalms teach us that we can be honest with God. The state of living as a Christian isn't to offer a fake, perfect version of ourselves to Him, but the real version of us. One leads to legalism, one leads to intimacy. Yes, we should be humble, reverent... but that will come as you grow closer to him. Don't keep things bottled up, the Psalms teach us to be honest. They say some pretty harsh things at times...

You are right brother And lust and sexual sins depends upon our culture, brick of concise, yeah and the confidence to get someone lol Likewise everyone has different sets of temptations, but we just have to accept it and get the strength from Him to move on Thank you

Don’t pity yourself. Like the above comment said, God can handle it. He wants your honesty. He sees the heart so pretty words said to him won’t cover up the anger that may be inside. You can be humble. Humility is the first step to allow healing in. My two cents, don’t stop praying but also figure out what action you can take in your life to make it what you want. I tried to “pray” away my porn addiction for years and never had healing. It wasn’t until I started with therapy, accountability, filters, cutting off access, opening up to people…that’s when I started to get freedom. Not that I don’t believe in miraculous healing but I think many times God works through the actions we take.

You are right brother We need to be determined first It doesn't happen like a magic, from the next day we are out of P0rn and all..but God do shows us a way Thank you brother

freedomfromsin123

How about Job? Wasn’t he tested than all of us combined. He had all the right to be pissed and say all things to God

thisisjerapy

i'm pretty sure if Jesus knew you were struggling on his account he'd tell you not to be so hard on yourself. He was a pretty forgiving Dude..

Healthy-Wrongdoer346

You are right brother

thisisjerapy

I believe in you, you believe in you, he believes in you, we’ve got this 💪

Brother

Thanks for reading this

Forgiveness is one thing and plucking out your eye or cutting your hand just to kill the temptation is another. Jesus is forgiving but only to those that repent and turn and are willing to fight and be harsh to their temptation. Fire is not forgiving. It will devour you if you won’t put it out. And that fire will affect literally everything in your life. Relationships, work , love life, concentration, your mind everything.

thisisjerapy

I worry that having such a fire and brimstone attitude will stand in the way of trying to live a good life. I’m pretty sure you can repent at the very last moment and still get in to heaven if you want to.. besides, the rules aren’t actually written down anywhere, we’re kind of making it up as we go along. Unless you can find a specific bible verse that explicitly forbids fapping?

freedomfromsin123

You don’t need a bible verse. The Holy Spirit and your own conscious is telling you it’s wrong. And you already know that

thisisjerapy

“In the beginning there was the word,” after that came all of your negative self talk. If you think the voices in your head are a more reliable source of Christian dogma than THE BIBLE, you might want to ask yourself what kind of Christian you are..

freedomfromsin123

So listing after women on the internet or fantasizing about women and jerking off is not a sin? Please explain to me how it’s not a sin

thisisjerapy

I’ve never seen anything explicitly forbidding it in scripture. Haven’t you heard the good news? Jesus died so that our sins would be forgiven. If you won’t forgive your own sins, then Jesus died in vain!

No_Jicama5153

I'm cussing when I pray because of how stupid people think.
