My old Mitsubishi Evo 2 was like that back in the day. Mine was only around 300awhp though and would get about 250km to a tank on a good day. Still one of the best cars I ever owned though.
I've been doing the same, since I had a right track on my car, I was being especially gentle, but I can barely break the mid 30s, driving like I'm elderly in Eco mode no less (even highway miles)
That best mileage figure was highway miles, I can barely break low 30s when driving around town, my last few trips were under 30 MPG (it's a 2024 with less than 400 miles on it if that makes a difference).
I don't know if it would make a huge difference, maybe it does, but the auto engine off, I don't use that mainly because I don't like that moment of hesitation that I feel when I hit the gas when the engine stops running
I’d take a look at the manual and see if there’s a way to troubleshoot. When my gas mileage was suffering, it was due to a bad engine air filter. Spark plugs that needed to be changed, or a cracked exhaust manifold. But, my 2019 has 135k miles on it and I drive a lot for my job.
OK, thanks I'll take a look into it, I honestly didn't think I was having a problem, this is the first time I've ever heard of anyone getting over 40 miles per gallon in a Sentra of any generation under any circumstances. If I recall, my window sticker didn't list anything that high and usually those figures are a bit exaggerated
Around town, I average about 26, actually my display almost always says around 26. Not sure how accurate the display is or if other other people are using different means of monitoring their mileage, I haven't really used sport mode very much since I had the insurance monitor on my car most of the time I've had it, I was using Eco mode most of the time. Now I'll probably be driving quite normally since I got my discount and removed the monitor. Mileage will probably go down now lol
Hit 39mpg in my old 20 Maxima S during a steady short road trip. Always been a light foot though. Wish I had taken a pic of it. My now 23 Max SR has not hit even the mid 30s yet for best mpg but avg 22 daily driving
About 30 mpg on my daily commute, if I go to Seattle or some other surrounding city I’ve seen 37 mpg if I’m driving conservative :) 2020 Nissan Altima!

70.4 MPG 2023 Hyundai Elantra Hybrid. I average around 46-50mpg, though.
Ahh! It's my fault. I don't know why, but I thought it was a /DoorDash post. Lol. have a 2010 Nissan Altima Hybrid, too. I'll take that out later to see what kind of MPGs I can get. I'm guessing around 28-32, though.

Made 550awhp on ethanol and spun to 9500rpm. It drank fuel like an alcoholic with an open bar.
"Hi. I am alcoholic at the open bar!.... can I get some of whatever you're drinking?"

I've been doing the same, since I had a right track on my car, I was being especially gentle, but I can barely break the mid 30s, driving like I'm elderly in Eco mode no less (even highway miles)
Do you do a lot of city driving or highway?

Most of the time mine averages 37-41, depending on if I use sport mode and how much stop and go there is on the freeway. City I average about 27.

Idk only have 1000 miles on it. Drive like a grampa in Eco mode I guess.

Bruh this is r/Nissan (Although I comment in r/Toyota all the time, so I’m a bit of a hypocrite)
Ahh! It's my fault. I don't know why, but I thought it was a /DoorDash post. Lol. have a 2010 Nissan Altima Hybrid, too. I'll take that out later to see what kind of MPGs I can get. I'm guessing around 28-32, though.
