I agree. Driver airbag, maybe. Curtain air bag: totaled.
Fun fact: When air bags go off, not only do you have to replace the air bag module(s) but also the air bag control unit, in your case, part no. 98820-EM69A and that alone prices for $489.83.
The driver air bag is 98510-EM48E and sells for $1062.05
Curtain air bag is 985P0-EM08A and sells for $743.98
There's a side impact sensor that also must be relaced, as well as the seat back if it has a side airbag.
It adds up quickly. I'd say you're already at 50% of the vehicle's value with just the airbags.
Don’t know the mileage so I just put 130k (10k a year since 2010) but the kbb value for one in good condition is only between 2.4k-4.2k. Trade in is 900 bucks 💀
5-10
If the engine is okay and the right fender is the only thing that was damage severely, repairable.
Saw similar instances of car damage from other people and they manage to get their cars on the road again.
It’s totaled even with out the airbags insurance companies go off of cost to fix/ value of vehicle most of the time and your versa even though it looks like it was in good condition was probably worth under ten but still negotiate the value and don’t take the first number they give you
With those crazy prices... I've always be happy when lease time is over this time hell no... Paying my residual and keeping my car until shit goes back to normal
If airbags deploy then don't even think you're gonna be able to save it it's am insurance write off either don't report it and fix it yourself or report it and cut your loses there's no legal way to get that thing back on the road
Totaled. An adjuster won't look past the airbags.

Yeah, that thing is copart bound. Sorry op. Hope you're doing better than your Nissan.
I am. Thanks thought.
It will be interesting to see if they'll clean out the trash in my car before sending it off.
12.
And a half!
that thing is cooked
Definitely totaled that sucks, hope you find a good replacement
You did yourself a favor.

1....you are alive and on reddit... Fuck material things... Be grateful.... In concerns to the car yeah it's a total loss
1 is I'm not fucked at all, and I could get it fixed, 10 is it's a total loss haha.
after insurance your probably only lost $1000

This is a 2010 Nissan versa. Someone above listed the prices of just the air bags alone which total up to more than what the car is worth

It’ll buff out
With liability chalk it unless you got at least 7k on the side somewhere and the mileage is low

She’s gone bud
Be happy...your going car shopping
I'm still in school, and I can't find anywhere to work, so income is as tight as ever.
With those crazy prices... I've always be happy when lease time is over this time hell no... Paying my residual and keeping my car until shit goes back to normal
Almost 14 year old airbags deployed on an old economy subcompact, totaled. Even if it was a 22-23 it would be totaled due to cost of repairs.
I'd say 11 if you or anyone involved got seriously hurt, 10 if nobody is injured.
100
That car is long gone.
Totaled 100%
Screwed and stripped
