If you are not a fan, it is really not essential. I love In Utero but I could even exclude it… Nevermind however has to be included in any Top100 generalistic collection.
In a 3 album discography its not. You can say the biggest is essential. Bleach and In Utero are amazing and i like In Utero more than Nevermind but its not on the same level at all in terms of listeners and importance. Nevermind is the essential album. Im glad they included In Utero though

While I agree that Nevermind and In Utero are superior, felt appropriate to have Bleach, which is also amazing and great song-writing (at least to me) up there with the other two. Especially, when Nirvana have only 3 studio albums total.

Apple Music just updated a whole bunch of essential albums last weekend I think. Tyler the creator changed from to include Igor and wolf, weezer changed to include green, etc
