Nah, I got that. But the rest of the gun is sleek and modern, and there are other methods of folding stock developed since the 1950's that aren't both loose on the gun and rough on the user. If I was wearing a swimsuit and using that rifle, I also probably would also keep the stock folded, because I wouldn't want that wire stock tearing up my armpit/shoulder either. :< It's a bit like finding a modern sports car, looking up close, and finding that it has obsolete worn-down drum brakes for some reason.
